I almost didnt book this place because it was quite a detour from where we had been but I'm so happy I did! It was such a cozy & quaint little cottage. The hosts were welcoming and gave us a farm tour. We were staying with family and there was plenty of room to spread out both inside and outside. There was a high chair for our baby and toys provided. There was so many nice touches throughout the home & the hottub was a great way to relax at the end of the day. This is probably one of the few places we have stayed where the accomodation is actually better than the pictures / description. It was about a 40min drive to lake Tekapo from the accomodation & we tried the Fairly bakery on recommendation & the pies were definitely worth the hype. My only regret was not booking for an extra night! Would definitely stay here if visiting again.

The stay was amazing - Graham and Vicki are so incredibly helpful and welcoming. Being able to switch off and just enjoy the area was perfect. We loved the hot tub and the bed is SO comfortable! All amenities are beautifully maintained and we appreciated the extra effort they went to! Thank you, Graham and Vicki! We will certainly be back!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Tracy's. The accommodation was immaculate with so many extra little touches especially the homemade bread and jam. The kitchen was the best equipped that we've had and Tracy was so helpful with local walks and the surrounding area. Had some lovely walks in Peel Forest and the local views from the house were stunning. Would totally recommend staying here.

Kay’s cabin was perfect. We booked on a whim to have a couple days away and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. It was so well designed for couples and had all the nice touches from cozy bathrobes and slippers. The hot bath and the cold plunge were excellent. We liked it so much we tried to book a second night on a whim.

This was a great stop on a trip to see the lakes. A perfect stopover after flying into Christchurch it was an easy 2 hour drive. The place is absolutely immaculate and a lovely comfy bed with crisp cotton sheets. We only stayed one night and had to get going in the morning so didn’t see much of the area but the views from the house were lovely..

What an amazingly peaceful home to stay in! We took an evening stroll down the country road and listened to all the birds around us as we watched the sun go down. The front porch is perfect for star gazing! Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we would need, including some homemade honey from their farm. Yum!

Extremely clean and well presented, enjoyed having Netflix as needed a quiet night in . Bed was very comfortable . Linen great quality and well presented . Rich gave excellent service all the time . Highly recommend Alan's place. Located well for the supermarket and restaurants (walking distance). Loved the huge deck, nice view, very cosy/comfortable living room with great reclining lounge chair and settee. Plenty of towels, great having the washing machine. Great water pressure in the shower. Comfortable beds and good sized bedrooms. We will definitely stay here again.
