Biji's place was one of the best experiences I have had in my life, and I think the others in our group of 7 would agree. You must stay here: the place is literally on the Kallada river, a boat can come pick you up from the house and take you on a mangrove tour, and you can even swim just by getting down a few steps. The setting is unbeatable. The house itself seemed all brand new, modern, very comfortable. Even the roof was beautiful, but my favourite feature was the ample 2 porch areas with fans, we basically sat outside the entire time to enjoy the views. Clean, gorgeous, and serene, this place is a must-stay. A lovely lady cooked delicious meals for us for a small extra charge, making the stay even better. Biji's hospitality went beyond all this, he even managed to find a gluten-free cake for our friend's birthday, in addition to helping us arrange cabs and boat ride. Many thanks for this unforgettable stay, Biji. We truly felt we were in God's Own Country.

We stayed at Terin’s place for three months with our two children, 4 and 1 year old. As written in the description the bungalow is pretty large with three big bedrooms with attached bathrooms, large living room, dining, kitchen, storage room, and a lot of space inside and outside the house. The house is fully furnished with everything you need to live in this house. Kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, pressure cooker, mixie, puttu maker, and a two burner gas stove. There is a backup inverter so there is uninterrupted electricity. There is a semi-automatic washing machine with a dryer which was very helpful for us. There is a cable TV connection with a LCD TV but we did not use it. Water is supplied through overhead tank to which water is pumped from a water Well that is within the house compound. The well had fresh spring water that we used for drinking and for all other purposes. The price for Gas Cylinder and Electricity was additional and we paid it separately. They temporarily arranged a high speed internet connection for us during our stay. It was very stable and we took the connection for Rs.600/month with U/L and D/L speeds of 10MbPs. The cable company offered many other UD/DL options as well. Jio and Airtel mobile networks worked fine inside and outside the house. The house is surrounded by many Banana, Papaya, Mango, Jackfruit and other trees and inside the house was comfortable even during very hot days. There are many shops very close to the house. There is a fresh milk diary shop that is 5 minutes by walk, small shops just 2 minutes away, and a super market 10 minutes away. A chicken store is 10 minutes away and morning fish market is also next to it. There were also many street hawkers passing by all day who sold fresh fish and vegetables. Local bus stop is just in front of the house where the buses go directly to Kottayam, Kainady, Kaivalam, and Changanaserry. There is an auto stand just two minutes away. Terin’s parents were very kind to us throughout our stay. They even brought us all the groceries when we arrived and had to quarantine for the first week. Throughout our stay they were available on the phone and in-person for any support we needed. They also shared some fruits from the garden and also some local food items they cooked sometimes. The people in the village were also very kind and friendly. Overall we had a very nice stay for three months at this place. Our children enjoyed the space inside and outside the house especially during hot and rainy days. A wonderful place to stay for short and long terms.

An amazing traditional keralan cottage that exceeded our expectations. In a great location out of the wa of the tourist area so we felt like we were right amongst the locals but also next to the backwaters, so beautiful. Great staff and facilities would highly recommend

We recently stayed at this lovely Airbnb and had a truly rejuvenating experience. Located in a serene and lush village, the property is a peaceful retreat from the demands of daily life. One of our favorite features was the sit-out area, which overlooks a peaceful canal. We spent a lot of time here, enjoying the sound of the flowing water. The place is incredibly family-friendly, offering plenty of space for everyone to unwind and enjoy the quiet. We felt completely at ease, knowing our daughter had a safe and comfortable place to play and explore. The host, who stays on the property, was incredibly kind and helpful. Their presence was reassuring, especially for any last-minute needs, and they always went out of their way to ensure we had everything we required. If you're looking for a place to disconnect, unwind, and explore the beauty of a charming village, this is the perfect getaway. Our family left feeling completely recharged and eager to return.

The stay is beautiful and very well equipped . Well maintained . Located 5 km away from Alappuzha town. If you are for a calm stay away from hustle , you can consider this as a great option. Also they serve amazing breakfast. Easy if you have your own vehicle.
