The family and I had a wonderful winter stay, even in -20 conditions. There is a lot to do and the property is lovely to walk about. Truly an all season cabin

Greg’s place is a perfect cottage: homey enough to feel comfortable yet special enough to feel like a treat. The view out the huge window is a lovely mix of sloped pathway/stairs, trees, lake, island in lake and more lake in the distance. The main room has the most comfortable couch and the 500 movies include something for everyone. We especially loved the wood-fired sauna down by the lake. I hope to stay here again!

We are three couples (and two dogs) who rented the place for two nights for a winter getaway. The house was fantastic for our group. The hot tub and sauna provided some fun activities on site. The open concept bar/kitchen and dining and living areas were perfect for this kind of get together. The view was beautiful -- this lake house is in fact right on the lake. The location was fantastic -- a scenic 15 min drive to Wellington for adventures and dining out. Heather was communicative and great to deal with. We didn't have any snow, but the driveway was quite steep and I would suggest you consider 4WD and winter tires if you're planning on coming when it's snowy/icy. For beds, there's a king and a queen, and then the other rooms/bunkie have futons or bunk bed set ups... it worked well for our group, but just FYI.

Ken and Rachel’s property is an absolute gem. We needed a few days of quiet relaxation and I we couldn’t have picked a better place to unwind. Everything was so comfortable and well organized, not a thing that we were left wanting for. Rachel and Ken’s communication and instructions were very helpful, proactive and kind. When life gets back to busy mode, I will think back to the stunning views that we spent the weekend enjoying.

Lovely house. Our big group with kids really liked the layout. Plenty of room for many of us to hang on the same floor yet still feel peaceful and quiet. The views are beautiful. The hosts are accommodating.

I'll admit, based on the reviews our expectations were high. They were exceeded in nearly every facet of our stay. We desperately needed ( election fatigue) to get away and have a week of peace, quiet, and serenity. Danielle and Jorden's home was perfect. there was not one single time while staying there that we looked for something that didn't exist. The bathrooms and kitchen are fabulous, and all are very well appointed. The radiant floors in the ensuite bath were a nice touch. The location is ideal, you are right on the lake with wonderful views from both inside and out, and despite having neighbors, it feels incredibly private. We had one small mechanical issue which Danielle took care of immediately. they were a pleasure to speak with, and their response time was always nearly immediate. The locals were incredibly friendly, the supermarket is just across the lake, and there's a nice dog park for those bringing their fur babies. We look forward to a returning to this ideal spot.

Great stay, even in the middle of winter. Amenities are unfortunately shared but would be a great place to book with multiple groups of friends :) Would love to book again.

We loved this Air B and B! We had a girls weekend. The decor and ecstatic was amazing. Having a wood burning fireplace roaring while watching the snow fall was pretty spectacular. We felt right at home from the get go. Rhys was also super responsive to our inquiries. The grocery store at Glenburnie is bananas good. They have a butcher shop inside and the meat was incredible. But all of the former good was incredible too. We will totally be back!

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

Our stay was great! No issues whatsoever, host was accommodating and friendly, house had everything we needed, we stayed for work, so didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit with wood provided which I thought was very nice of the hosts! Water was not potable but the hosts leave you lots of drinking water, and water to make coffee!!

A lovely and relaxing cottage in a serene landscape. Truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return back one day.

We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unique unit. The surroundings are beautiful, and we got a lot of pleasure from sunrise coffee on the patio in the morning and afternoon beverages with a sunset on the other side of the road. The unit is well equipped and filled with natural light, and Sam provide thorough instructions to help you manage the property’s quirks. We found it very quiet and were not bothered at all by the traffic to the ferry. The bed is comfortable and there was an ample supply of linens and towels. The location gives you easy access to Gananoque. We enjoyed walking the Gananoque perimeter trail and exploring the older part of town. We highly recommend the Stoneacre Gastropub and the almond florentines from Panache Bakery.

Its an awsome place to go very peacefully and a-lot to do in the private place its very spacious and very beautiful and if anyone is looking to have a good and piece full time this is your place to go.

Jenny was a great host who was very understanding to our flexible check in needs. We were traveling from downstate and had run into numerous delays on the way, including snow! Jenny cranked the heat for us and left the lights on so when we arrived, albeit very late, we were able to quickly warm up and get inside. Cottage was cozy, private, and surrounded by natural beauty right on the St. Lawrence River. Wonderful stay and would definitely come back in we were in the area again.

We rented this place over the long weekend and just loved it. Robert was a very response host. Everything was perfect. Very spacious place with everything you could possibly need. Very close to town, grocery store and sight seeing. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

Myself and my family spent a great memorable weekend at Slav's place on the lake. The house and settings were perfect. The place was clean and new, without clutter, and still very comfortable. The host was proactive and very responsive. Thank you, Slav and I hope to return shortly.

Excellent cottage! Spent Thanksgiving weekend with family at Deb's place. The location is amazing on marble lake with great water views and all the amenities needed. We cooked, BBQd enjoyed the wood burning fire place, relaxed and enjoyed each other's company. The walking trails near the property are also gorgeous and we enjoyed some great hikes in near by Bon Echo PP. We definitely will be back to the Daisy cottage!

We had an excellent stay! Easy self check-in despite getting there later than intended. The place is beautiful and clean with some extra touches of home convenience and comfort. The surroundings are beautiful and our big doodle had tons of space to play safely right outside. Devon and their family dog Milo are very sweet. We will be back whenever we have the opportunity. This was our first time staying here and using Airbnb. We had a great stay and would definitely come back again to explore the area more! Everything in the home is comfy and cozy!

The “Sunset Cottage” felt like a cozy home away from home. An extraordinary lake view from the bay window was the perfect center piece for this modest, quaint escape. Carol and Pete are extremely personable and caring. Their hospitality made this trip a breeze. I highly recommend them and this AirBnB.

This gem tucked on the Madawaska River is ideal for many reasons: - the cabin is situated on a small hill overlooking the flowing river, it is peaceful and beautiful, cosy and cute. - it is located in an area that is great for those looking for a little wanderlust/adventure close by - Tooey's Lake & Lake Clear were the nearby lakes that were great for day trips! - and the cabin itself is very clean, well equipped for making meals, and super comfortable - the mattresses were amazing, plush and comfortable. Luka is a terrific host, attentive, quickly responsive, and added some nice touches to our stay (provided wood for our fires, and dropped off some extra essentials that we needed). Keep in mind to bring your linens, and that swimming is not ideal for those with mobility issues, although, for those more experienced swimmers, it is a great spot to enjoy the water. We will be back, thanks Luka! 5 Stars all around.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay during the last week of August! Some of our favourite parts of the place include: the canoes/kayaks that were available to use at our leisure, the check-in process being seamless, the essentials being provided (all kitchen supplies, beach towels, shower supplies), the other amenities (board games, BBQ). The place itself is quite beautiful. The dock with the chairs, the fire pit (even though we did not use) and the solarium were all stunning. I would just mention that it is a bit smaller of a place inside, so did find it a bit cozy and tight in the rooms. Also, the place is supplied with quite a loud window AC so sometimes it would get a bit loud/warm in the place. However, we would still give the place a 5/5 all things considered.

Heronview Cottage is such a quaint and quiet place to stay and relax in the comfort of a cozy house with a fireplace, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Cam and Karley are wonderful hosts who made the trip so easy and had the place set up exactly as you’d want it! Everything is nicely kept, modern, clean and comfy. Perth is a quick drive and there is lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy. Cam and Karley had the place nicely stocked with supplies and tea/coffee which was greatly appreciated. The place is very cute with ample room to relax, cook, watch TV and play board games all in the presence of a lovely wood stove for enjoying a fire. There is plenty of space for the dog to run around and explore a little too! Thanks to Cam and Karley, we look forward to coming back soon to Heronview!
