Beachfront vacation rentals in Thompson Beach

Our stay was intended as part holiday and part exploring the surrounding location as a place to live on a permanent basis. The location was excellent near to all the amenities we are seeking and close to the beach. The property had all we required and great coffee! Would highly recommend this accommodation and the host (Queenly) was always responsive.

Great house for a large group, comfortable with plenty of space for all of us and our doggies. Awesome location within a short walk to the beach.

We were lucky enough to stay in Maxines’ beautiful house to help celebrate our mother’s 60th birthday. It was a gorgeous beachfront house with multiple balconies and a lovely (almost private) beach. Maxine was amazing and helpful, and we would absolutely recommend! It houses up to ten people so for the eight of us it was perfect. Great to have a big table we could eat and play games around and then an equally as large couch for comfort, Thank you for the stay Maxine, we have created the best memories (:

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The property offers a beautiful view and is equipped of handy cooking appliances you could need, making it perfect for a family stay. Lucy even left out some treats and a fridge with extras, which was a nice touch! The central yet more quiet location in comparison to say Glenelg - was ideal, with everything we needed within walking distance—Grange Jetty, cafes, pub, and a bakery were all close by and essentially at your door step. Henley Beach was just a leisurely 30-minute walk away, which we loved. The house has a garage that fits a small car, however there’s ample of parking out front - if you time it outside of peak hours. Overall, it was a wonderful, convenient, and peaceful spot to base ourselves to explore what Adelaide has to offer. We really enjoyed having a quiet dinner or lunch on the patio over looking the water or relaxing on the Egg Chair having a wine or coffee. We had a lovely stay over Xmas at Madeleine’s place great location so close to the beach and amazing views from the bedrooms upstairs and a nice balcony to sit on and watch the sunset also pet friendly and a great sized secure backyard for our kelpie Archie. Everything you need is there and even things like sunscreen and insect repellant napkins etc we definitely loved our time there a great place to relax

We have stayed at Black Point and walked past Peter's Port many times and we couldn't be happier we chose to stay here for this holiday. Russell was very responsive and flexible with some of our requests which really made the stay more enjoyable. The property itself is basically the perfect beach side shack. It smelt and was very clean upon our arrival and the kitchen was very well stocked which is often not the case. Its so good that the essentials get left for use by the next people (clingwrap etc). Having access to the shed was excellent with the associated crab rakes, kayaks etc. a real bonus. It really was a great stay and we even caught some fish directly off the balcony at high tide one morning. 👌

Thanks for letting us stay at Cast a Line. Our stay was wonderful and very peaceful - exactly what we needed. The home was clean and comfortable and our pup felt safe and happy. We had a great time!

Very enjoyable stay at the accommodation. It was very clean and tidy, and being dog friendly was great. It was an easy walk on the beach to the water park and jetty, and the high street was a 2min drive. The kids loved just chilling out on the couch or in their bedroom. Thanks for letting us stay

Helen' was an excellent host. Communication was great. She did those little extra things for her gueasts, for eg. milk, coffee, tea, cereal and even toothbrushes and paste just in case you forget to pack them. The place was well equipped with everything you need. Nice place to come home too. Comfortable bed with a T.V with sports and movie channels. The main room has a 55inch TV also with Netfix. Balcony overlooks Colley reserve. Beach just across the road and undercover parking. Look8ng forward to booking again in the near future.

This property was located a 5 minute walk from Glenelg’s Jetty Rd which is lined with shops and places to eat. We enjoyed the serenity that the place provided and its cleanliness. It was perfect for 5-6 adults. The host was responsive and flexible, taking into consideration our needs. Would highly recommend if you are staying in Glenelg and will definitely be back!

The place is on a beachfront. It has everything you need. Our adult children had a great time, so close to shops, restaurants, grocery, and the tram. There’s beach stuff to use, chairs, body board, umbrella, beach towels and so much more. What we love the most is the window looks out into the ocean. Second floor and you see all the action. Gillian was very helpful. Best place to stay in Glenelg.

We stayed in this beautiful home for a girls weekend away for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect! The house was incredible and we all loved decor and the art pieces in the house. It was so homely and such a beautiful place to stay. It had absolutely everything we needed and we couldn’t think of anything bad to say. Only a short taxi ride to wallaroo and the simms cove walking track is just a stones throw so beautiful for walking. Will definitely be returning one day!

We started our visit to Australia in this property before some travelling and returned for our last 5 days! We enjoyed visiting other places but come back to this property after was the best decision! It felt like home. A beautiful property and in the most amazing location. We are thankful for being able to stay here while visiting family and would recommend to anyone!

Great house, easy check in, lots of different amenities in the house was perfect for the 4 couples and a little one. Really nice view too!

great place to stay to visit family who live close by, the retreat has everything you possibly need plus extras the bed is really comfortable and the shower is brilliant all in all the place is great and we would stay again! we even had the privilege of meeting Celia one day :) thanks again and maybe see you again in the future

La Perla was the perfect location within walking distance to the beach and playground. The shack was very clean and everything we needed was provided for. Mara was a great host and I would definitely recommend the shack for a simple Port Hughes getaway.
