Spend the day walking around the historic Holy Island and Lindisfarne Castle and enjoy a pub lunch at The Crown and Anchor. Be sure to plan your trip according to the tides.
A must-see trip: explore Holy Island and its monastery founded in 635AD by St Aiden. Stunning place to take photos. Check tide times before setting out across the causeway to avoid being stranded!

The castle itself is a National Trust property and there is a bus shuttle from the castle to and from the village of Holy Island. There is a large car park as you approach the village.
