Tips from locals
Has an impressive beach when the tide is out. Interesting pre historic defense structure.
Off the beaten path, Danes Dyke is a woodland area with peaceful nature walks with excellent views across to Bridlington bay. Danes Dyke has onsite parking and has its own beach, which is often fairly quiet but a real hidden gem :)
This dyke bisects Flamborough peninsula. Named Danes Dyke because it was believed to have been cut out by Vikings, it was later thought to have been constructed during the Bronze Age. It's now a nature reserve.
