Hotel vacation rentals in Thimphu

enjoyed our stay. beautiful garden was a plus. rooms and bathrooms were neat. kitchen well equipped to prepare a decent meal

Clean room, lovely host and a beautiful location. Despite being very close to the tuorist spots, immigration office and eateries, it's a bit away from the din and noise. We walked to all the tourist attractions from the hotel except Buddha Dordenma. Highly recommend this place to people visiting Thimpu.

If you are in Thimphu, you just need to check yourself in to this amazing place. Its a one stop place for all your needs in Bhutan. The hospitality they offer will touch your souls to another level and the food here is to die for. All of this without digging a big hole in your pocket. Thanks PenRab for everything. Pros: The room is nice, clean & modern. It’s cozy to stay in, and the host accommodated my request for a room where I could sleep peacefully. All the female staff are well-trained. My room didn’t include breakfast, so I ordered it separately. The food was good & you can enjoy a continental breakfast (pancakes, tea, bread and jam, fruits). However, be sure to double-check the prices, as the rate card on the menu may be outdated. Cons: Since this is an Airbnb room, your payment does not include accommodation for your guide and driver. In Bhutan, unlike many other countries, independent travel is not allowed—you’ll always be accompanied by a guide and driver. If the host doesn’t provide them with a room (and to some extent, meals), they may have to stay elsewhere. This can raise safety concerns for your guide, and it’s an uncomfortable situation for every one of this extra expense. However, in my case, the host kindly provided a room for both driver and guide, so the issue was resolved.

Really quiet and private place with an facilities that one would need Damchoe was very helpful - felt quite at home with her. she took time off to explain the recipes of the tasty dishes she made us for dinner, gardening tips... was only there for a night, wished I had stayed for longer.

The host Mr. Tshewang is a respectable and understanding host. If your looking for a man with integrity look no further. He will make sure his host feels comfortable and valued.
