Vacation rentals in Thaxton

This is probably the most unique place we have stayed at through air bnb. The place is close to town, but you feel like you are one with nature. Horses, cats, dogs, birds…we so enjoyed walking around the property to see all the animals. We usually stay in town when in Oxford and this was a great place after the hustle and bustle of Oxford game day. The furniture was very comfortable, which we usually find lacking…but not here. Linda was delightful…she allows a private stay unless you reach out. Was a delightful stay.

Our stay at this beautiful log cabin just 15 minutes from Oxford, MS, was absolutely perfect! Nestled in a secluded area surrounded by nature, it truly felt like a mini vacation. The cozy cabin had everything we needed, and comfortably slept all 12 of us without feeling crowded. We loved spending evenings by the fireplace indoors and making s’mores around the outdoor firepit. The outdoor grilling station, complete with a TV, made for the perfect setup for grilling and hanging out. The peaceful setting allowed us to relax and unwind, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway close to Oxford!

Loved our stay! Stopped in Mississippi to visit family while we took a break from our move across country to NC. Beautiful view very peaceful and enjoyed the cows.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The cabin is in a peaceful location. It was the perfect place to stay outside of Oxford. I would recommend this to anyone!

My friends and I had a great time at Floyd's place over a big time college football weekend in Oxford. Floyd's place is fairly close to campus (easy drive, or about a 2 mile walk to the football stadium) and also closer to restaurants and other amenities. The place was clean, spacious and had a stocked kitchen, just as listed. Floyd was very communicative and helpful. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay. Communication from our host was great and the condo was really cute. We loved the subdivision it was in and it was a in great location, very convenient to downtown and the softball park where my daughter was playing. Would definitely stay here again!
