Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This place is a treat for the senses, the serenity is off the charts. It is a great spot to have the ultimate weekend getaway or stay for a few weeks, with plenty of room for the cars, caravans and tents along with a spacious house that sleeps 7 to 8 people. It has a massive entertaining area off the house with a built in bar which looks out over the picturesque dam. Ceiling fans are throughout the house along with Air conditioning.

There is a great little beach with a safe swimming enclosure, a boat ramp less than 2 km from the house, and has a small general store. Creek and estuary fishing is located close by and there is also easy access to the Barrier Reef & ‘Bunker Group’ for awesome fishing, diving, and boating.

Simple, comfortable accommodation with all the basics you need. So very quiet and peaceful, fishing on your doorstep and nature all around. Neil is fun knockabout bloke and his little mate Turbo will stop by to say hello as well. We will definitely be going back as soon as we can.

This property is simply stunning. It’s a home away from home, everything is thought of for you and nothing is too much trouble for the host, they go beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. We loved our stay, although short, we could have stayed for weeks. Highly recommend to anyone. Close to the beach and town, yet space to feel peaceful and truely relax. 10/10 for everything.

A peaceful and convenient location. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It was kept clean and the property was maintained very well. We were even visited by native birds and kangaroos during our stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and we would love to return to the cabin again some day.

Very nice owners who immediately responded when we needed help with lighting the oven.. I've built and lived in a house in NZ with a wind generator offgrid system and I think some detailed instruction on the solar electric system in this house would be welcome. This is our 4th trip to Curtis and the first time we didn't camp out. Very nice interior, good kitchen, comfy beds. Didn't watch TV but they have a large one in the living room. Good water pressure and lovely neighbors.
