Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Tanhyeon-myeon

Where to begin…Sowol’s Hanok had all the modern comforts you could want, inside a traditional Hanok. We got the best of both worlds. As we stayed in winter, we appreciated the warm floorboards, cedar wood bathtub and extra warm bed and duvet. The tea and traditional sweet upon entering was a special gesture, it made us feel especially welcome ❤️ the Hanok is tucked away on the outskirts of the village so it’s super peaceful and quiet, away from the crowds. And finally- thank you Sowol for your exceptional hospitality and being so accommodating when we had to leave our suitcases for a few extra hours. Highly recommended, book and you won’t be disappointed!

It was great for two families, including parents and children, to travel. The location is very good and tranquil. The house was clean and there was no inconvenience to stay. Communication was smooth and very kind, so I was comfortable throughout my break. I intend to revisit and recommend it.

Good accommodation, but need to take stair to second floor

Fantastic cozy envirorment. Also we was shocked that you had every appliance imaginable. The only major critique would be metal pillar that is attacked to the stairs please incorporate at 4-6 inch cushion that wraps and covers the entire metal frame. Base to ceiling. My girlfriend bumped her head really bad Saturday morning on it. She is small and she is still hurt right now bad. We did see the signs saying be careful but it is kinda in the way completely. So the cushion/ that wraps and covers the entire metal frame is a must have for the future. We be appericated for future clients. Thank you for the opportunity have a blessed day. 8/10 stay for me

Eunso is such a great, friendly and kind host! It was such a delight to stay at her beautiful hanok. We stayed warm and cosy, often greeted by the lovely view. We were provided snacks and ice cream too! Eunso often checked in on us to see if all is OK. We really had a wonderful time and she even helped to book us transport to our next destination. Highly recommended for an authentic hanok stay! 😉👍🏽

The place was really tidy and the location was so convenient and nice! It was a place I'd like to come again on my next trip. The host also turned on the boiler warmly before check-in, so I had a comfortable stay!

The location is quite private, not too far from Gyeongbok Palace. The facilities of the Hanok are quite good. Unfortunately, there is no heating in another private room, and it is a little sad to go outside the toilet.If any kids are harder to use at the dining table

It was literally the most perfect place to stay, especially for first time visitors in Korea who wish to fulfill a fantasy of staying at a traditional home. Even as Korean, it was the first time for me to properly explore the Bukchon and I didn’t know how lovely it is. The accommodation is suited well for two couples. It might be very slightly small for those who have large luggage but otherwise overall pleasant and very neat. Most importantly, the water and heating system are absolutely fine, which had originallly been our main concern. The location couldn’t be better, the entire surroundings is charming and so many places to grab a nice coffee or meal and plenty to look around. The hosts were incredibly friendly and always responded within 10-20minutes of any text. They made us feel very warmly welcomed with a very nice gift on arrival. Strongly recommend!!

Very cute and warm hanok-house with high qualitative bath amenities. I suggest to spend 1 or max 2 nights because is very small, but the experience worth it! Host is high responsive and the welcome and check in were easy and nice
