Nice place in Ohakune. Big yard to kick a ball around and close to town and park for kids to play. Warm house and well equipped. Great kitchen! Spa was always nice and hot.

The best place to be with a large group of friends or family. Amazing space with plenty of space and thoughtful touches (marshmallows by the fire was a crowd favourite). Beautiful views of the mountian and close enough to both skifields to beat the crowds. Hope to stay here again soon.

Fantastic place for the 4 of us, we stayed 4 nights and loved it. About 12km to the mountain and heaps of awesome walks. Great location. Used the hot tub most nights it was great. Good kitchen and bathrooms. Would 100% stay here again if in the area.

Hidden Valley was a fantastic place to stay with a group of families to enjoy Ohakune & the surrounding area. The lodge was well kitted out, had a great living space & kitchen. It was warm with the roaring fire and plenty of heating. Enjoyed the external access bedrooms so everyone had a bit of their own space. It's a great spot, very handy to town and the mountain. The kids had a great time playing & exploring outside. Adults plenty of space to relax & socialise. Thank you very much to hosts Craig & Tracey.

Andy was a very responsive and proactive host which made us feel relaxed and reassured to reach out if needed. The home was as described and suited our needs perfectly. The view was just glorious and the location fantastic!

Great spot for a weekend away with my partner. Plenty of outdoor activities in Ohakune and it's a bonus to soak in the hot tub afterwards. We made use of the fully appointed kitchen, cooking dinner both nights. Absolutely lovely stay.

Nice and clean apartment, which was very cosy. We really enjoyed the spa ☺️ Thank you Richard for all the little treats (freshly baked bread, milk etc) we had a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at the Sawmill Lodge, well set up for big groups. Easy to drive into town.

Was extremely good with communication and instruction. Cozy house, fire place kept us all warm. We all enjoyed staying. Couldn't ask for more. Kids enjoyed sleeping in bunk beds. Couldn't enjoy outside due to weather. Highly recommend. We wish to come back again.

Wonderful wee railway cottage. Kids cracked up/crapped their pants when the trains roared past in the night but it became part of their norm in no time. Great wee cottage with everything we needed and close to town. Perfect for going up the mountain and super helpful host! Thank you.

Beautiful home, great for a big family lots to do with plenty indoor and outdoor activities to offer, would highly recommend, we visited during spring time and unfortunately we did not make use of the pool can already tell it would be a great summer holiday getaway. Tracey provided clear info on how to operate certain things around the house which made for a smooth checkin and stay throughout, we found it easily accessible, and only 20 min to turangi so wasn’t too far from topping up groceries etc. hour away from Taupo made a good day trip and a swim. Would come back for sure!!

Second time staying here and was as good as we remembered. Love the fireplace! Great spot as about 45 minutes from the snow.

Loved the staff here! All were top notch and enjoyed having conversations with all of them that I could! (I’m looking at YOU Serbia and France! 🤗) We had an absolute gong show with our baggage being delayed from the airlines (as well as us checking in) and the staff was always responsive, understanding and helpful - totally helped reduce our stress! “Cabins” were enormous, clean, quiet and private. Beautiful location. I wish I’d had the time to go fishing from here, can’t imagine the convenience and accessibility! Restaurant was great - tons of options for breakfast and dinners were fab. Again, staff was on point! Even treated us to some Jaffas after dinner at the bar!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gum Tree Haven, it was spacious, clean, well equipped as well as being in a great location with fantastic views of Mt Ruapehu and surrounding countryside was so peaceful. We would love to stay again.

Amazing place to stay! So quirky, beautifully done, very clean and comfortable. We only stayed the one night before doing the tongariro crossing but wished we could stay for longer! Will definitely be back :)

Great spot to stay for a weekend of photography in the Central Plateau. We hired this home and the one next door for our group.
