Osprey Luxury Lodge With Hot Tub

CarolineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Probably the best Christmas we have had for a while. All the stress taken out of it by the hosts, the house was beautifully decorated for the season, two wrapped presents and a hamper of goodies. We felt thoroughly spoilt! The cabin is exquisite and we would love to come back. It was wonderful for the dogs too, completely fenced in around the cabin so no fears of escapees! We loved everything about it!!

West Lodge, Balblair Estate, Highland

SamuelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a fantastic property. The wood fired hot tub and log burner were ace, and great ways to beat the winter cold. The kitchen/bathroom was clean and contemporary. The bedrooms were cosy. Communication with the host was top notch, Matthew even helped me find a missing Amazon parcel. The place was easy to find, and had detailed literature on the local amenities as well as how to use the facilities. Would definitely stay again.

Bunnyhops - The Fresh Sea Air is Free!

BrianRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Mark’s cottage is easy to find in a great location and it was spotlessly clean and cozy. The cottage has everything you could need. We travelled with our two small dogs and they were made as welcome as ourselves. The welcome bottle of wine was as much appreciated as the dog treats- thank you!! Mark was super helpful and friendly - full of proactive helpful hints and very responsive to any questions. We very much enjoyed our stay and can only recommend the cottage and Mark as a host.

Cottage with sea view on North Coast 500

NaomiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our third stay in this wonderful house . Homely and cosy with a great log burner and everything you need . Stunning views and great access to the beautiful north coast . Bring a head torch if you arrive after dark . Logs are available at Bettyhill cafe and the Wee Shop on the way to Thurso . Can’t recommend highly enough as a great ‘getaway from it all ‘ place to relax and unwind .

NC500 Cosy Cottage in the Highlands

NickyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Had a warm and cosy stay at the cottage, which was lovely and clean, and in a stunning area. Plenty of parking space. Plenty of wood given to last the week. Neighbours friendly. We were worried about the road being so close once we got there, but with the cottage being low in the hillside, the sound of the road traffic went over the roof, so it was nice and peaceful. A really lovely village and highly recommend the tearoom at Elphin for food and drinks. We even got to see the northern lights and lots of shooting stars! A great stay!

The cottage is in a perfect location for all the beautiful walking spots in Lossie. It’s very quiet. The cottage seemed a lot bigger than the photos and it was comfy and very relaxing for me and my dog.

The Kylesku Kabin- luxurious wilderness

NicolaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Kylesku Kabin is absolutely stunning - one of the best places we've stayed in. It's stylish, comfortable, perfectly equipped and just a wonderful place to sit by the fire and enjoy the most incredible views. Bathroom is beautiful (loved the spa bath) and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook well. The area is stunning - we walked by moonlight to the bar at the Kylesku hotel, and loved exploring the lochs, mountains and bays by day. I'd visit the area and stay at the Kabin again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much

Sunset View Cottage, Highlands

PaulaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We recently returned for a 4 night stay at Duncan's place over New Year. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, warm and cozy and is well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The views out across the water are amazing. Portmahomack village itself was very quiet over the holidays, but we did get out lovely walks every day all with 30 mins drive of the cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again sometime one summer. Duncan was a great host. Thanks again for having us at your lovely home 😊

Staves Cottage : Bespoke holiday cottage

RebeccaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Cosy cottage with everything we needed for our 2 night break. Warm, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Right opposite a little Co-op for supplies and just a few steps to the wonderful Bothy Bistro for delicious lunch and dinner. Some lovely walks right on the doorstep. Extremely well placed for the amazing ‘Burning the clavie’ which we attended and loved. Our host was responsive and helpful. Would recommend Adrienne’s place.

Luxury cottage by Clachtoll beach+hi speed WiFi

EllieRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The perfect base for our stay. Beautiful safe beach for swimming, lovely walks in both directions from Clachtoll. The house was warm and cosy, clean and well equipped. Plenty of information in the house on the local area. Assynt is stunning and it’s a beautiful drive north if you fancy exploring even further up the coast. Lynn was brilliant, the perfect host.

Coulview Cottage

This is a gorgeous cottage with so many good points - outside space is stunning and there is a lovely walk down to the beach. The cottage is well resourced and relaxing. Everything you need to prepare food is easy to locate and its very clean and tidy. I found the cottage fresh and modern and it felt like a home. The bathroom was lush and the wee corner ensuite toilet and basin were cute and handy for my mum. Loved it all.

Howe Cottage, Orkney

ToniRating, 5 stars4 months ago
fabulous setting with great views. Lovely cottage with everything one could need and more. I do like it when the things left by other guests are available, like herbs and spices etc. it makes a stay so much easier. Also a welcome pack from the hosts which is always nice. It's a very comfortable, cosy cottage and we would definitely recommend to others. It was also wonderful to be able to stay late on our leaving day as our ferry to Shetland leaves at night, luckily no one else was arriving and Laura very kindly agreed to let us have a (very) late check out. Only thing missing were the Orkney Voles who were obviously on holiday!

Honeysuckle Cottage idyllic retreat close to NC500

RobynRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
I stayed at Honeysuckle Cottage with 4 friends over New Year's and it was absolutely perfect. Instructions to get there and in were clear and the place was spotless, comfy and as described. On our first morning there, there was a power cut due to the storm (affecting the whole area) which just made it all the more magical. Jessica was quick to bring us candles and torches and we were perfectly content and warm with the wood burners, and managed to make breakfast and a cuppa on the gas hob. The Internet was also temporarily down while we were there and we had no phone signal, which actually made our stay even more special, but something to bear in mind if you need to stay connected. I would definitely recommend and will no doubt be back! Thank you! What a lovely place.

Mackenzie Cottage in Oldshoremore

GerryRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The cottage is fabulous, tastefully renovated and wonderfully equipped. The underfloor heating meant we were toasty all the time and we had the option of the wood burning stove in the living room to add extra warmth in the evening as well as a gorgeous highland ambience. The bed was very comfortable and lovely views from the windows. Andy & Angela are fabulous hosts who obviously care deeply about the quality of their guests’ stay with them. We were unlucky enough to have a car issue whilst in the area and Andy & Angela went above-and-beyond to assist us in getting it resolved quickly and with minimum drama - we are eternally grateful to them for being so kind and helpful. We love the area and the scenery - the next time we’re back we will only stay here 😀😀😀
