Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Taichung City

A unique and wonderful experience. Despite the obvious language barrier all the temple volunteers were so welcoming, generous and kind. We were invited to share a special celebratory meal which was the most delicious food we ate during our trip to Taiwan. Be aware that if you don’t have a car the location is a bit out of the way but we managed fine with a combination of buses and taxis. Very memorable! Highly recommended!

Photos look exactly as described, Wen is extremely responsive and very accommodating to my ask as we have kids. She’s also very friendly and nice to remind us to apply mosquito patches and many more things to take note when we are out. Thanks for going an extra mile for us, I will be back when I ever need a big space for a big group. (:

An extremely beautiful place which my family enjoyed staying in. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Host even provided two foldable mattresses for our toddlers to sleep on. Plenty of amentities provided that made our stay really comfortable. Only down side is that the bathroom on level 2 had some drainage issues and flooded quite badly when we took our showers. We had to resort to using the bathrooms on the other levels for showering. Also, the area under the sofa was not cleaned. When we bent down to retrieve our kid’s toy from under the sofa, the amount of dirt we saw under the sofa was quite astonishing. Everything else was otherwise perfect and we really had a great time here.

The owners are friendly and a lot of the everyday items are prepared for us.The problem in the bathroom said it was also resolved immediately.The only US-China deficiency was that there was only one room, but it was fine.The room bathroom was overall clean.

I had a great week staying in this cute and cozy flat in Taichung. It was clean, comfortable and felt homely right away. The bed was comfy, the Internet worked well and having a washer on the balcony and a drinking water fountain on the ground floor was super convenient. At first, the shower setup seemed a bit unusual to me, but it worked perfectly fine, no water left the bathroom and it was usually dry by the time I got back from exploring. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the MRT, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The host was friendly and very responsive. Overall, a great stay, and I’d definitely book again!

The location is good, there are 2 paid parking lots nearby, the home is comfortable and tidy.

Jin’s place is so spacious and extremely clean. It is very well-appointed and she thoughtfully included some snacks and tea. Jin’s aunt greeted us, led us around the apartment, and answered all questions. Would highly recommend!

Well decorated hotel room in a west district of Taichung. Close to many restaurants and shops. Gardens of National Science Museum and Calligraphy Greenway just 5min walk away. I really liked the location, and I would stay here again.

The charger was left in the room and forgotten to take it away. Thanks to the host for helping to retrieve the charger.👍

It is already the third time to rent Kumao's house, the design of this house is still as always thoughtful and practical, every detail is taken care of, clean and comfortable, and the view is open, the night view is beautiful, and the sofa can also enjoy the sunset ~ There is everything around the house, the bus stop is just downstairs, and the bus is relatively close here, it is easy to go everywhere ~ Kumao is really kind and hospitable, very quick to respond, really thank you so much ~ It is the old age, the price is a little expensive, but this is normal, and it is most important to stay comfortably, and I will choose Kumao's house next time ~ As a reminder, if you leave at checkout time, reserve more time, or stagger the time, because the elevator has to wait a few times before you can get in ~

I was looking for a place to stay in Taichung for a family trip and booked it. This is my second trip to Taichung, and I was worried that the location would be ambiguous because it was somewhat far from famous restaurants for Koreans.. Rather, it was good!! It's a building, but it's divided into three buildings, so it's in a building that feels like an accommodation building, a hotel building, and a shopping mall. It was nice to have a convenience store, Starbucks, and a restaurant in the shopping mall on the first floor! There is also a department store across the street! In particular, it was nice to be able to buy a shortcut every day at the shopping mall fruit store. You can store your luggage on the first floor in advance, and there is also a luggage storage locker in the basement of the shopping mall, so I used it well. When I moved, I took a taxi, and I was able to go to some places within 8,000 won of Korean money. There was no bedroom door in the accommodation, but it was a L-shaped structure, so it was nice to be able to use it like a separate space. Especially, the bathroom's water pressure was really, really strong, so it was the best haha Shampoo, body wash, and hand wash are provided, and I stayed for 3 days, and only one towel was provided per person.. We recommend bringing extra towels!! It was on a high floor, so the night view was great, and the whole family loved it.🙂 There are three elevators, so even though it's on a high floor, there's a waiting time. There were very few! The host also reflected the request well, and it was nice that he responded kindly and quickly!! I think I was satisfied in many ways and had a comfortable stay. If I go on a trip to Taichung again next time, I want to stay again!!

The apartment with one bedroom and one living room feels good overall, the only small disadvantage is the bathroom, it is not convenient to step into the bathtub when taking a shower, everything else is good, the equipment prepared by the host is also very good, I love it, I will want to come back if I have the chance😊

The bed is very good to sleep in!
