Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Syracuse

What I was looking for and my 2 dogs where very happy.. I would go again

Vincenzo and his wife were extremely kind and helpful throughout the entire stay. They welcomed me as a friend and took good care of their Airbnb. The home has a modern amenities and plenty of space to park a car. The area around Gallina has a lot of swimming options and the house is a few minutes to the highway if you want to go north to Catania or Siracusa or south to Modica and Scicli.

Very nice and helpful host. Excellent apartment location, a ten-minute walk from the historic center. In winter, the heat pump is sufficient for the bedrooms and therefore an additional heating system (present) was necessary for the other rooms. I recommend parking in the nearby square and not along the road

This was such a cute airbnb! The hosts were super friendly. Met the owner at a restaurant randomly and she was such a sweetheart! Very close to the beach. Perfect for a little weekend get away. A few restaurants nearby. Not alot to do close to the airbnb, but it was perfect for us who wanted to get out of town. Super cute neighbourhood. The Airbnb was clean. We were allowed to bring our little puppy without any issues. She loved the backyard! I totally recommend for those who want a quiet and cozy place to stay. 10/10! ❤️

Everything was absolutely amazing! Would recommend this home to anyone thinking of coming to Siracusa and would definitely like to book this accommodation again next time! Perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at Federica's home ❣️ It is actually small house you have to yourself, with amazing terrace, lovely and big bedroom with balcony and sooo comfortable bed with lots of pillows, sufficient kichen where is possible to cook almost everything as there is a stove and small oven as well, big fridge and freezer 👍 and dining room with big table and couch to crash on while watching TV 😉 Location is absolutely perfect, few mins walk to the beach, bus stop around a corner with perfect connection to Catania, Noto, Syracuse and more, exquisite butcher on the corner is a must as well as tiny bakery and fishmonger around a corner ☝️ There is a pizza place next door with excellent pizza and very nice seating setting right outside your door, open late, so if you are light sleeper as me, bring your earplugs and you will be fine 😉 Last, but not least, Federica is such a darling, very friendly, helpful and kind host and beautiful person ❤️ Absolutely recommended ❤️

we had a wonderful time at Villa del Sole. they welcomed us very friendly, even brought a German speaking friend to explain everything and had some Sicilian sweets as welcome gift. the Villa itself is very spacious and has everything as described. the beach is in walking distance as well as some excellent fish restaurants.

Roberto was incredibly responsive from the very beginning. The house is truly magical, surrounded by stunning lemon, orange, and mandarin groves that create the most beautiful and peaceful landscape. Roberto provided a super helpful local guide filled with great recommendations and even welcomed us with a basket of fresh Sicilian local products :) The house is exactly as shown in the pictures – if not better! It comes with thoughtful extras like a barbecue and a fully equipped kitchen. One of the highlights was being able to pick fresh lemons, oranges, and mandarins straight from the trees (and fresh eggs) – which made breakfast-time really special ;) Highly recommend staying here! Noto is just a short drive away and full of great restaurants, supermarkets, and everything you might need. Plus, the location is perfect for exploring some of the most charming towns in Sicily, all within easy reach. Would definitely recommend it and go back again!

Salvatore is a reliable host. He was flexible when we needed an extra night due to changes in flight schedules and he offered us the possibility to store our baggage in the apartment for a few hours after check-out. We spent a lovely 10 days in Syracuse and enjoyed the views form the balcony.

Had a great stay! Very convenient and very nice little house in a great location for walking around. Was even able to settle down and get work done during the afternoons.

Wonderful place to stay, great spaces, each ensuite bedroom!

What can I say, what an amazing find in Ortigia. On a beautiful historic street close to the cathedral and historic monument but also moments from the sea. The apartment is beautiful, with clean parquet wooden floors throughout and everything feels like it has been recently renovated. It has a great kitchen with a hob, large fridge and dishwasher. The bedroom is glorious, spacious with a really comfortable bed. And the bathroom has a lovely walk in shower. The living room has a really comfy sofa and a large flat screen tv. It’s really tastefully decorated. There’s a small, but perfectly formed terrace with comfy seating. The hosts kindly left us some snacks, water and coffee, which we appreciated. And most importantly, Salvatore was really helpful in finding parking for our car, just around the corner from the apartment, which was a massive help. Salvatore was very responsive to any questions we had. And we’d definitely recommend this apartment to our friends.

Very pleased with the stay at Guiseppes place. Location and rooftop terrace is perfect. Apartment is as described and communication with the host was very good. Noto is lovely. On the (small) minus side: Kitchen could be better equipped and there is not much of a living room for rainy days (we were there in March).

The apartment is located in the heart of the old city, a short distance from the main cathedral square, in a great location. The room was comfortable and clean, very artistic and tasteful. The landlord is also very welcoming and responds promptly with all kinds of help and useful information. Hope to stay here again if we could back to Syracuse .

The apartment is large and very clean and in a 5-minute walk you can reach the historic center of Noto. The beds are very comfortable and the room is quiet. Parking is free in a small square in front of the house, we stayed in March and we never had any problems finding a place, I don't know if it is equally easy in high season. Angelo is very kind and very helpful, at check-in and check-out he came in person and gave us great tips on places to visit and restaurants to eat.

Marcella is a warm and responsive host. She allowed us to check in very early and her place was clean and comfortable with a lovely view.

First row of houses by the sea. Small mini sandy beach and stairs 20 meters away. Ideal for sea lovers. Beautiful, spacious veranda (when you stand, you can see the sea). Small 1-room apartment with kitchenette; ideal for breakfast and small meals. A great apartment when the weather is nice. Ideal for visiting Ortegia/Syracuse/Noto. A car is necessary for everything (restaurant/shopping/excursions). Robin was very committed to giving good tips. We enjoyed quiet days with plenty of swimming and short trips to Ortigia.

Thanks to great info, we were able to do a self-check-in at a late hour and found a wonderfully preheated apartment, which is awesome at this time of year. Siracusa showed itself from the most beautiful side and so we could also enjoy the wonderful roof terrace, on which we could also experience the turn of the year. Fireworks all around, nice atmosphere and then it was quiet again. Francesco's apartment is lovingly and functionally furnished. We felt very comfortable and welcome. Thank you! Bea&Chris

Fantastic apartment at the centre of Ortigia. From the bedrooms to the kitchen and bathroom, everything was very clean, very comfortable, very convenient. Wonderful view from the terrace upstairs. We were in touch with Rosy (Leandro's mother) who most helpful and always reactive. We loved our stay there and would recommend it to anyone. Just keep in mind that there are rather steep stairs to access first the apartment's first floor, then its top floor and terrace (not suited for PMR).

Maria Teresa was amazing. She had so much information about sites, restaurants, tips etc for us to do, all printed out. A very well appointed apartment with all the little extras. Easy to return to when you need a break. Maria Teresa is an extremely good host and lovely lady .

We had a lovely stay in Syracuze, great city with a lot to see. We slept 2 nights at Casa Smile. Great location, close to Ortigia, and close to free parking (by the kids playground). Luigi and his wife welcomed us, left us some breakfast for the kids and gave us recomendations for sightseeing. The bathroom shower is maybe a bit outdated, but everything was clean, and nice. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Cristina is an exceptional and diligent host. Great instructions and support on getting to and around the flat, very communicative and made every effort to make my mum and I comfortable. She helped make our first time in Sicily smooth and hassle-free, and we are very grateful.
