Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Swellendam

Absolutely amazing property that combines a lovey touch of history with functional modern living. Bathrooms were clean and new. Only improvements could have been to supply more toilet paper, and to make some cleaning products more available so that we could better clean up, some larger bins might be nice - but overall, an incredible stay. We will be back for sure.

Riverside Country House is a beautiful and very spacious property in a lovely peaceful setting in Swellendam. It is a very short walk from Swellendam’s shops and restaurants. The property was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and comfortable; although we spent more time taking advantage of the large decking area taking in the lovely views and bird life. Lynette was a great host, being friendly, helpful and communicative. We would not hesitate to recommend Lynette and Riverside Country House.

We had a lovely stay at Die Blou Huis. Peaceful and very private, yet close to the beautiful Swellendam, De Hoop and Witsand. We will definitely visit again!

Off grid peace and quiet. Thanks to Madré and the team who helped us feel very welcome and settled us in. We loved the solitude, the stunning Karoo landscapes, the cool plunge pool and having braai facilities on both stoeps so you could sit next to a lovely fire no matter where the wind might come from. We always appreciate good quality cotton bedding, too. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay and worth every cent. My kids aged 6 and 7 did not still for a second. They loved visiting the chicken coop, playing in the garden, swimming and enjoyed all the child friendly board games. The house was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Very clean and tidy with lovely views, a piece of heaven. We had a fantastic stay, thank you to the hosts.

My family and I were blown away by Napier and the accommodation at Jenni's place. When we saw the pictures, we thought we were getting a simple stop over apartment, but the pictures don't do justice to what we were greeted by. The apartment is very spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. Jenni and Peter went out of their way to make our kids comfortable as well. There is an amazing sense of peace when staying at this apartment in Napier. Thank you Jenni and Peter.

This Airbnb stay with CJ and Anna in Robertson has been my absolute best experience by far! From the seamless booking process to a smooth check-in, every step was perfectly organized. The accommodation itself was pristine, boasting hotel-quality furniture, bedding, and decor. As a bonus, they offered cleaning services, which added an extra layer of convenience. Working remotely, I deeply appreciated the quiet environment, speedy internet, and the comforting air conditioning. CJ and Anna's hospitality was exceptional. On my first night, tired of road food, I was delightfully surprised with a home-cooked meal, making me feel instantly at home. Their kindness didn't stop there. When I faced a transportation issue with no one to call, CJ and Anna went out of their way to assist me—truly going above and beyond for their guest. I'm already planning my return trip to Robertson, and there's no question about where I'll be staying. A heartfelt thank you to CJ and Anna!

The tiny house was a delightful stay. It was clean, beautifully furnished, and located in a fantastic spot, making it perfect for exploring the area. The only thing missing for us was Wi-Fi.

It was very relaxing and peaceful at Taryn’s place. Loved being in nature. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It is so wonderful to see a business invest in improving the environment by planting indigenous trees and preventing soil erosion, setting up eco friendly camping sites. The only issue was the solar power and inverter system which did not power up the fridge for more than 4 hours. Other than that we had a lovely stay - thank you Taryn!

Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

We loved our stay at The Whitehouse! We wanted a private place in nature with a hot tub, and that is what we got. we loved walking some of the hiking routes, gazing at the springboks. We enjoyed the privacy and beautiful nature. The house's glass wall-doors opens up completely. We loved the natural light coming into the house. We definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone that are looking for a private, isolated place in nature to just relax.

If you are looking for a secluded cabin in the mountains, this is the place for you! Very private and off the grid allows you to really connect with your partner and nature and rest. We had a great stay! Although off the grid and no running water, we managed very easily with the camp shower setup, as well as the compost toilet, and it really was not as "inconvenient" as one would imagine. There is still an element of luxury as the setting is surreal and you can really relax. We LOVED this place and would defintely recommend!

Great stay , amazing place in nature. Loved the fact that we could be “noisy” and ourselves. We even had the pleasure of seeing a bokkie/kid eating berries infront of the house! Would be even more amazing if they add a hot tub. All in all it was so worth the drive from CPT
