A lovely, spotless, spacious cottage on a beautiful and serene farm. Wish we could have stayed longer!

A lovely central spot to stay in Calitzdorp. Hosts were very welcoming and provided info regarding open restaurants during our stay. Our Labrador got special treats and enjoyed the garden. The space is well equipped and we had everything we needed including electric blanket. Information regarding facilities was clearly provided in writing in the accommodation. Would definitely recommend the Karoo Nest to others

Jan and Karen are wonderful people. Friendly, welcoming and responsive. The house has everything you need and the location is superb. The surroundings area has plenty to entertain.

We had a great time during our stay and fully utilised the opportunity to relax and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. Although a more challenging drive than expected, absolutely worth it!

Can’t recommend Traka Cottage highly enough, modern, well equipped, super clean and excellent comms from Tia & Kevin. Great views over the harsh Karoo landscape. Midway between large towns so stock up well before you go although hosts do provide some supplies with an honesty box. We stayed for 4 nights and loved every minute, super chilled by the time we left !!

We loved our stay at the Chalet! It’s such a beautiful and quite place to enjoy the nature of Oudtshoorn. We really appreciated Gerts recommendations for restaurants and great activities to do nearby. Would definitely stay again at Africa Inn!
