Lovely old cottage, great for a relaxing get away with family or friends. Ideal quiet location on the edge of Llansadwrn village with the local friendly pub within walking distance. With the Brecon Beacons on your doorstep there is plenty to do including lots of gardens, castles and mountains to visit. A car is ideal to get around although there is a local bus stop close to the house with a service bus travelling to llandeilo or Llandovery. The nearest railway station is Llangadog.

We’ve had a wonderful eight days at this absolutely beautiful and welcoming property. First, Judith and her husband were so friendly and helpful. The house itself is beautiful and has the most exquisite views. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The house was very well equipped but also had a lot of character. We were there to walk the Welsh coast path. Although the area is not as well known as Gower or Pembrokeshire, we had some stunning walks. So all in all, we were so sad to leave! Many thanks.

Wonderful 3-night Easter break at Hazel Cottage with 2 teenagers on a revision retreat ahead of exam season. Ticked all our boxes - from comfortable beds and study space, to proximity to amenities and local beaches yet tucked away with a sense of quiet. The well equipped kitchen and large table, and the cosy lounge with log burner enabled family time and chilled evenings either playing games or watching films. The eggs and flowers were a delightful touch and we enjoyed reading about the history of the house too. We'll be back!

Firstly, we both want to thank Oeter for allowing us to stay in such a beautiful cottage. It was clean, cosy, quiet, homely...just everything as was described! Everything to the last detail was thought out, including walking routes, local restuarants and pubs there is an entire wall of leaflets as soon as you enter the property of everything that area of south wales has to offer so you really are spoilt for choice. The property was clean and imaculate and with everything you needed, such a stunning place to stay! If you are looking for a quiet retreat for a few days look no further! 10/10 will deffo be coming back! Thank you again for such a lovely stay! Martin & Cara

Good sized place in a good location. 3 good sized bedrooms. private parking. The location is good to see The Mumbles. Just beware the walk back up the hill if you have any issues with walking. Plenty of places to visit nearby by car, lots of beaches and bays such as Rhossili. The house was clean and tidy and well equipped. Lyndon was very helpful with local recommendations. Nice place, we would stay here again.

We had such a great few days at Valley View Cottage. Valley walks minutes from the doorstep (albeit a bit tricky to get onto main track with kids and bikes!) and beaches half an hour drive. We were blessed with amazing weather so we were able to get out and about. Also nice to meet the lovely neighbours and get to watch Pontycymer RFC win the league undefeated!! The whole family loved it!

Another great stay at Gorlech Cottage. The cottage with its secure garden and walking distance from The Brechfa Forest works brilliantly for myself and my three dogs and that is exactly why I keep on returning and will continue to return. Cara and Steve are the perfect hosts. Always responsive and helpful if necessary.
