Vacation rentals with breakfast in Suva

Fale Yau is a wonderful place to stay I highly recommend Fale Yau. The Hosts Litia and Harry welcome you into their house and treat you like old friends. The house is homely and spacious with a lovely garden and pool in a fabulous location a short walk to the museum, parks and the seawall. Harry cooks fabulous home style meals several times a week and guest are welcome to use the kitchen. You are staying with a family in their home and sharing the space with other long term guests, so I think that it is important to be a considerate guest. The family pets were delightful company adding to the homely feeling.

Douglas and his wife were lovely! They met us at the bus stop to drive us to their home. We arrived quite late in the evening and they shared their dinner with us since we hadn’t eaten. The fridge was also stocked with a decent breakfast (milk, toast, fruit, jam/butter, orange juice) which was unexpected! We really appreciated not having to go out and pay for breakfast. The home stay was super clean and spacious. There’s enough bed space for 3-4 people. The kitchen is pretty well equipped with dishes/cutlery, a toaster, fridge and kettle. The bathroom is nice, gets the job done. The property itself is very green and pretty and we loved their friendly dogs!

The Namosi eco retreat was such a great adventure for our young family. It was exactly as described, so beautiful, peaceful and we felt like we saw what real life in Fiji looks like up in the mountains. We had a guide to help us cross the river and to take us hiking and on the village tour. The food was delicious and so wholesome. Danny organised transport for us, making it nice and easy. Joe our driver arrived exactly in time to pick us up and we enjoyed getting to know him on our return journey. We would highly recommend Namosi for people wanting to get off the tourist trail and see a slice of mountain paradise.

Loved Darran & Mue's place, particularly for a work trip. They are responsive and welcoming, my room was clean and tidy, the A/C is great, the wifi works well, and it's fantastic to have a good restaurant and coffee bar just downstairs. The location can't be beat, either--easy walking distance of Suva's main business district. What a great stay.

Thanks to Babra and Abbas for a lovely though sadly short stay at their home. they were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel comfortable and at home right away. The room had everything as advertised, aircon, nice warm shower, locking doors. The pool which we didn't have time to use looks lovely and it quite big. We could walk from their house to a few restaurants and they are close to the pearl resort for diving. We had a delicious and extensive spread layed out for us at breakfast which they kindly made early so we could be at the dive centre by 8am. Strongly recommend staying here if you are in the area.
