Slate Mtn Cabin, Cozy and Comfy, near Mayberry

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Cozy Cabin with a breath taking front porch view. Private getaway from town but close if necessities are needed. Just 10 min from Mayberry. One queen size bed and comfortable leather couch in living area. The kitchen has limited ability for cooking, ie. No stove. I have microwave, toaster oven, griddle and of course keurig. Great place to unplug and renew. 2 night minimum please. Guests will check in to obtain directions and keys and meet Host.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place . I have trails in the woods on east and south. My place is 15 min away from Pilot Mountain states park and 25 min from Hanging rock state park. The house is 12 min by car (8 miles) from Mount Airy ,Andy Griffit's home town. There are many wineries with home made wine close by, situated in the mountain with mesmerizing views. My place is child and pets friendly with zipline, 2 trampolines, own gym, fish pond , fountains, hammocks and swings.

This sweet little guesthouse is in a great location near the heart of "Mayberry" (Mt Airy). Within walking distance of historic downtown, the Andy Griffith Museum and Wally's Service station, this bungalow is tucked behind the main house for privacy and quiet. For many years, the property was owned by a local sign maker and this separate building was where he created his signs. Some of his creations are displayed on the exterior. The interior has been completely remodeled.
