The property is very private, peaceful and comfortable. It's well presented and includes thoughtful extras like complimentary breakfast package and alcoholic drinks (for a fee). Although mentioned in the listing, the loft bedroom is very bright and not private so don't discount this when booking, especially if couples are booking and not a family with children. Natalie was communicative and considerate with messages.

An outstanding rental. Supplies exceeded any expectation: fresh eggs, sourdough, milk, butter and honey. A great assortment of teas, well equiped kitchen. The house has lovely living areas, both inside and on covered verandas with everything needed plus extras. Beds all comfortable with plenty of places for our personal gear. Beautiful little blocks of luxurious handmade soap. We felt lucky to have found Susie’s house.

We had a fantastic stay at Dun Roamin! The cottage was perfect for our family of four—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal, just steps from Pakington Street’s great cafes and shops, and a short drive to Geelong’s main attractions. The house itself had plenty of space, with a cozy lounge, a well-stocked kitchen, and a lovely outdoor area. The king and queen beds were comfortable, and the entire place had a welcoming, homey feel. Karen was a great host—responsive and accommodating. We really appreciated the early bag drop-off! Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a convenient and charming stay in Geelong.

We were down for the weekend to watch the footy. Lots of places booked out, it was a busy weekend in Geelong - boat show/racing, regatta, footy, air show next weekend, lucky to find Nicks place available. Walking distance to GMHBA stadium and eateries and waterfront. Nice place, old unit that’s been done up. Garage is small/low, our hatchback fitted but an SUV wouldn’t. A comfortable stay in a good location. Nick was a friendly and helpful host.

Martin and Eli were very hospitable, showing us around when we arrived and providing us with some breakfast goodies such as eggs, fruit, cereals, fruit and milk to get us started. The accomodation is completely self-contained, modern and clean. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend the property and hosts without hesitation.

We enjoyed our night stay, with local winery in a 4 minute drive away. The space was incredibly clean, comfortable beds and very peaceful location. The bread, eggs and milk were an added unexpected bonus. We would definitely stay again. Thanks Ruth

Lovely cosy space only a few minutes from whites beach. We were able to get the wave rider coach in and back from restaurant in town …. Too easy ….Little extras like beach towels were very welcomed and also towels and bed linen of high quality and the place is quiet. Kitchen is a kitchenette and not really suitable for cooking but fine for breaky and keeping bits in fridge. Very easy check in and checkout….. overall we were very happy and so was our dog Gypsi…. Lorelle's bnb is truly a charming step back in time. With the most hospitable welcome, Lorelle ensured that me and Remi (the poodle) were comfortable and felt at home. It's not your typical airbnb where you rock up and could be anywhere with generic decor and impersonal vibes. Rather, like described, Lorelle provides a traditional old school bed and breakfast experience filled with lots of history and character. Thanks for a lovely stay!

What a great little find Paper Mill cottage was. A peaceful little retreat! Clean, comfortable and cosy! Yvonne was a super host and extremely helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay at Kuldeep’s . The front section of a house on a new estate on the Bellarine . All as described- very comfy bed and good shower, lots of onstreet parking and walking distance to shops and food outlets. Always feels strange entering by someone’s front door but all sectioned off and private. Only downside was reaching over the bins to get at the lockbox and having to have the blinds down most of the time as the bedroom window is on the street.

The photos on Lorelle's site don't fully do the B&B justice. Its a beautiful authentic replica of an English cottage built with recycled materials and filled with vintage pieces and original artworks. The location is a lovely peaceful space, breakfast was delicious and more than substantial, and we enjoyed some wonderful conversation with Lorelle learning about the history of the area and her generations of family who have lived there. Can't recommend Barrabool Hills Retreat highly enough.

The room, artwork, ambience, provisions, verandah space, garden and overall vibe are so lovely & retorative to one's soul. High recommended! I'll be back there soon too.
