Bench 170 is a very special spot. As my nephew said on arrival, it's 10 out of 10. The house is beautiful and everything was of top quality, the proximity to the beach so great, and we've never experienced such thoughtful touches in all our combined travels. The home had everything we could anticipate, including laundry facilities, pantry items, toys for kids. It was a great combination of a gorgeous holiday home and it being a comfortable livable spot.

We had amazing stay at Christi and Jason's! There is everything you need for a cozy stay, AND the view of the ocean and mountains is spectacular. We got lucky with the weather too, so everything was extra good. They gave us great recommendations on where to go around the area and we'd definitely come back.

we loved our stay at Joule’s. The place was spacious and comfortable, we relaxed and were able to feel fairly at home. It rained the majority of our stay, and so the hot tub was especially enjoyed with being a perfect way to be outside during a drizzle. The kitchen was equipped for cooking meals, the beds were comfy, and Sechelt was a pleasure! We enjoyed a few trails nearby. Would recommend staying at Joule’s place for a Sunshine Coast getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cabin. What a special spot! We enjoyed exploring the inlet with the canoe provided and exploring some of the local hikes. Be sure to try to the local Mexican Restaurant. We loved the seclusion and quiet this cabin provided with easy access to any groceries or other amenities we might need.

Absolutely Stunning! Stayed here over Christmas and could not have asked for a better spot! Beautiful views, very comfortable surroundings. The beds were very comfortable and more than enough lovely thick towels. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The location was perfect! You are no more than a 5 min walk from everything! All the shops and restaurants are so close! It’s a really great place to stay, we will definitely be back

This condo was so great! I could live here. It had pretty much anything you could need for a short or long stay. The full kitchen was nice with the full size, 6 person table. There were several condiments, tea and coffee left in the kitchen to use. The bathrooms and beds were beautiful. Even the hide-a-bed was fairly comfortable. The pool, hot tub and gym were in a different building so we only used them once. The beach and walking path were right outside the door. The walk is definitely worth it, even if you don’t have a lot of time. Other than the shoreline, Nanoose Bay is within an hour of many hikes, waterfalls and hidden gems to explore. We didn’t find a bakery or grocery store within walking distance. The closest would be Parksville which is not far. But you do have to drive or set out for a long walk. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thank you!

What an amazing view in a lovely town with great beach walks and hikes close by. Could not recommend this place more. Amanda is a fabulous host, full of great recommendations and made certain everything at the flat was to our liking. We will definitely be back! Did I mention the view from the flat and deck was amazing? Absolutely mesmerizing, especially on a full moon.

Very clean, spacious and inviting. Host had everything we needed for cooking along with some extras in the kitchen (spices, tea, coffee). Breathtaking view of the ocean and sunset. We will definitely be booking again! Really enjoyed our time with our family.

Bonnie’s place was great, it was clean, quiet and comfortable! The water pressure in the shower was amazing and the kitchen was very well stocked! Bonnie was friendly and communicative and ensured we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The unit was really easy to access. This space was cozy and comfortable. Everything was fresh and clean. The host was amazing and super responsive with any questions we had. Walks around the resort were lovely, pools were awesome for kiddos. Would absolutely stay here again. We had a really great time at this very comfortable townhouse! Derek was a very responsive host and was incredibly accommodating of us traveling with a baby. Would definitely stay here again!

Randy and Barb’s home was absolutely perfect. The condo is beautifully decorated and it’s even more lovely than the photos. The view is unmatched. We watched the tide come in and out each day. The peaceful water views are a dream. We usually visit Florida each year and this year we wanted to stay in Canada. My family had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to come back. Our three year old loved the playground and the kids hot tub that had a slide! Endless fun. The resort has a delicious restaurant, a spa, trails and kayaks. Everyone was so friendly. Home away from Home, is how I would describe this. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were not only welcomed there but that we could feasibly own this place. We stayed a total of 5 nights, and were began to feel sad after the 4th night, knowing we would have to leave. Being literal steps from the ocean made for beautiful sunsets and serene mornings. The area is fairly well protected from winds as we were facing a North-West direction. The indoor pool, hot tub, gym and games room are all within a quick 3-minute walk. The indoor pool is very large with a large shallow area for the kiddo's. Indoor pool has a Dry Sauna as well. The hosts, Kimberly and John, are very communicative. There is a provided binder with local amenities and Places of Interest. We took their suggestions and had a wonderful time getting to know the area! All-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We have officially decided that we will be making Vancouver Island our yearly destination.

We really enjoyed our month long stay with our infant and toddler. The place was very clean and comfortable with lots of storage space for all our things for such a long stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the family. Lots to do for families in the surrounding area and we loved going down to the beach. You have to walk to a different resort beach access to use the stroller but that was no problem as it was quite close. Would definitely recommend!

John’s place was fantastic. Easy check-in and quick to answer any questions. My wife and I really appreciated the size of the condo and all the amenities. The fireplaces, jetted tub, comfortable king bed, well equipped kitchen and beautiful patio. We took advantage of the on-site amenities including the gym, pool, outdoor hot tub, trails and restaurant. Our stay was awesome and John made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this gem of a condo in beautiful Nanoose Bay.

For me it was all about location. This quaint cottage is situated right across from the ocean. We watched the most beautiful sunsets every night. We also got to see a whale spouting in the distance. Our family had a great time.

Lynette’s place is clean, well equipped, and located right by the water. The suite had everything we needed for our short getaway. It was tidy and comfortable. It was kind of amazing to be so close to the ocean and listen to the waves at night and in the morning. But also great to have a gas fireplace (and heating) to keep us warm!

Beautiful location that felt close to nature yet also walkable to amenities. The view at the table while you eat breakfast is very peaceful. There was an occupant of the lower unit with two young children running around, so be mindful that there will be some shared noises. The hot tub, view, ample space and location made this an peaceful retreat for my family without having to isolate them; you can walk a few minutes and still get a great cup of coffee.

Michelle has created a custom retreat with plenty to enjoy. You are surrounded by elevated pieces all while feeling comfortably one with the space. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, and the tub was so nice I used it twice during our short stay. Our girls felt the magic of their sleeping quarters, using the desk, cozy reading nook and the canvas tie backs for the bed area with joy. We were well greeted and given a lovely rundown of the ins and out of the beautiful space. A special experience was had by all. Perfect for our family of four. This was our last stop on a multi-legged tour of the eastern side of the island. A haven between hikes, markets, and secondhand bookstores, I am so glad I booked last. True RnR.

Our stay exceeded our expectations and we hope to plan another trip out next year! Hosts were fantastic! Kind, helpful and responsive. Was the perfect weekend get away to reset and relax! We saw lots of sea life around which was incredible, and the kayaking was amazing! The place was extremely clean and spacious. The outdoor kitchen had everything we needed and we loved having the view of the ocean while we cooked! You won’t regret booking a stay here!

Family of 4 had a great stay. Kids were happy with the second bedroom. The private docks offer us easy access to the water for kayaking. We were amazed with every little details where perfectly turquoise colour matched down to the pot handles 😃 Highly recommended!🙂

Sunsets from the wharf were awesome. Private. Supplied food was excellent. Personable host with excellent local knowledge.
