The Famous Thiksey Monastery is just 15 minutes drive from my home and a visit to Thiksey monastery morning prayers is a must while staying here. Homestay in the heart of Leh

A green spacious house for a peaceful vacation. The place is centrally located and is close to the cafes and shopping areas. The house has a common place to relax and talk to fellow travellers, and enjoy the local bukhari heating in winters. There are 2 cats to play with. We provide room heater in months of extreme cold of December, January, February. Water is provided in bucket in winter since the pipes freeze. Simple in-house food is also available at extra cost if informed in prior.

Guests have access to 2 pools on the property and a lounging patio, BBQ grill and outdoor games. The beach & boardwalk is about 2 blocks away- just a short walk! Restaurants are within walking distance along with local shops and must see attractions. On Thursday summer nights be sure to watch the fireworks!

You won't want to leave this central yet quite farm house, located just next to the tissuru stupa and a lesiurely walk from Shanti stupa. The house has a commanding view of the whole leh town. We welcome guests/ families who would want an authentic cultural exposure . Perfect place for you if you are driving into leh and want some peace quite. Additionally there are doctors on the property which is essential quite often at high altitude places.
