Review: Our stay at the lake house on Lake Blackshear was nothing short of incredible! My family and I traveled 12 hours to spend Thanksgiving with my father-in-law, and this home provided the perfect setting for a truly memorable holiday. The views were absolutely breathtaking—watching the sunrise and sunset from the porch quickly became our favorite part of the day. The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, making our stay both comfortable and convenient. We spent our days fishing and relaxing by the water, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. It was exactly what we needed to unwind and reconnect as a family. The host clearly put a lot of thought into making the home welcoming and enjoyable for guests. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with stunning views and everything you need to relax, this lake house is the perfect choice. Would highly recommend.

We evacuated during Hurricane Milton and feel fortunate to have had Daniel as our host. He was compassionate and flexible and really helped put our minds at ease, not knowing if we’d have a home to go home to!! Never met Daniel in person but he assured us he would help us in St. Pete if we needed it!! The lake home is not fancy and it’s older but it’s well equipped and it met our needs perfectly! The lake view is wonderful and the area is quiet and peaceful! You’re surrounded by pecan orchards cotton and peanuts. We’ll likely go back and hopefully under better circumstances next time! Perfect quiet place to relax. Plenty of room for a large family or multiple couples. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning sunshine with the brisk Fall air! The location was perfect for our weekend adventures- Georgia Veterans Stare Park, Andersonville, downtown Cordele, and Montezuma.

This place was perfect for my Mom & Dad's Anniversary trip. The home was so clean and you had everything you needed and more. Really all you had to do was pack clothes and bring yourself. Dana has the cabin very well stocked! Dana also went over the top with welcoming hospitality! My parents requested that we send them here each year for their anniversary. We will definitely book again! Dana is the best host we have ever dealt with. Highly recommend for a seamless stay!

The place served our needs perfectly. My friends and I were in town for an architectural tour of historic homes in the area, and this Airb&b gave us a the ability to wind down after a day of touring. I would certainly stay here again!
