We needed some extra room while my mother and sister visited, and Ron and Nicole's listing seemed a great fit. Turns out it was much more than that, my family can't stop raving about how happy they were during their stay. The host went above and beyond to give us a quiet, enjoyable living area, with snuggly bedding and a stocked coffee/snack area. The guest house is like an oasis they could retreat to after a long day of shopping and exploring the Elon/Gibsonville/Burlington area. Thank you so much, Ron and Nicole, if we ever need extra bedrooms we will book again without a second thought.

This is an older 2/1 home with no working central hvac BUT the two window ac/heat pump combos and portable radiant heaters more than did the job. It did not have a dishwasher but it did have a newer washer and dryer. The home was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was set up with everything we needed including a large newer stove and refrigerator. the queen bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable, sheets were clean and the bathroom had more than enough towels and washcloths. It's an easy drive to WFU, only about 8 minutes.

Karen and Rob were fantastic hosts—super responsive and easy to communicate with. The home had such a warm, welcoming vibe and was full of thoughtful touches, like a bottle of wine, honey sticks at the coffee bar, and laundry essentials. The bathrooms were great too—we especially loved the blue classic tub/shower combo! The surrounding area felt very safe and scenic, with plenty of shops and restaurants within a 5-mile radius. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We’d definitely love to stay here again if it's available!

This is our second stay here and love the place. It has the older home charm that is so tastefully decorated. The kitchen has it all! Roomy and private. Sitting on the back porch watching the dogs run around the back yard is great! The fenced yard is large and very cleared our and safe for the pups, mine loved it! I could go on and on but find out for yourself! You may even make a sweet friend next door! Such a personable person!

Sam & Nicki were wonderful, my drive to NC took much longer than expected so I arrived late in the evening. They both were flexible and accommodating. The Shack was very comfortable, bedding, kitchen had everything you could need, great shower. Clean, quiet, peaceful and private. Fresh eggs and water along with new pillows provided with out request, eggs delicious! Woke up to be greeted by a friendly cow, pony and horse. I had to leave early my sister had a sudden heart attack and passed away, Sam and Nicki could not have been more kind. Told me to leave the shack without worry for cleaning it up, although I did my best in such a distraught state. They followed up to make sure I made it back safely and sent kind and comforting words and prayers. I hope I an able to one day revisit and would recommend a stay at the shack should u be in the area. Thank you for your hospitality, flexibility, fresh eggs, and understanding. Bless to have had the opportunity to spend time at the shack 💙🙏

My husband and I lived in beautiful Winston-Salem for 35 years, so it was a homecoming for us. Our twin sons were born and raised there but hadn't been back for 15 years. We enjoyed this very nostalgic trip with three generations of our family. The house was perfectly situated for what we needed and handled our extended family of 7 people very well.

Carey's cabin was exactly what my family needed after long hours in the car and stressful business engagement .It was perfectly located just a short drive from Winston Salem and between two of the most beautiful State Parks which we are able to explore. My children loved playing the board games provided, roasting smores under the stars and waking up to deer crossing the property and a spectacular sunrise. The cabin itself is filled with the warmth of the hands that made it,we are thankful that we were blessed with an opportunity to share a few days in her special place !

This was a great little apartment located very close to downtown Winston Salem with many great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. John was very easy to communicate with and very flexible when we asked to leave our car at the house for just a bit after check-out to walk downtown for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again if i go back to W-S.

Our stay in The Bungalow was great and worked well for our family. I would stay there again. Joyce was super responsive as it is a little hard to find as we were checking in at night. Summerfield Farms is just that - a farm with only a few places to stay - so very unique and rustic. Walking path around farm is really beautiful. The cottage was very nice and well done. Thank you again, Joyce!

We loved this house. Very clean and very spacious. Hosts are very responsive and worked with all of our requests. The screened in back porch was a perfect spot overlooking a large backyard. The neighborhood is beautiful and my family and I enjoyed nightly walks. Neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. Convenient location to the Piedmont Triad Area. My son was enamored by the chickens and we ate fresh eggs most days. However, if you are not interested in chickens, the coop is very far from the house and you never need to see them. The kitchen is fully stocked including some great appliances like a vitamix (state of the art blender) and kitchen aid. If you are traveling and this is the location you would like to stay, this house is 5 stars.

10/10 this place was awesome! It was comfortable, clean, it felt like home, extremely spacious, and accommodated all of us. Tawny was absolutely wonderful! Definitely couldn’t have asked for a better host. This was our first time EVER using Airbnb so we weren’t sure what to expect. Tawny did an excellent job at making sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond. She is absolutely amazing! Definitely plan on staying again!

Susan and Jeff were very receptive and friendly hosts, willing to assist in a very timely manner. The house is a cozy cottage feel with a lot of quaint decor. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and a nice place to walk. There's a lot of nice trails nearby too. A great place for our business trip to Wake Forest.

Lovely home in a fantastic neighborhood. We had a great time staying here with our dog. It was very walkable with excellent restaurants and groceries nearby. The home was quite roomy and included a much appreciated washer and dryer. While the back yard was not fully fenced in, it was landscaped and had a comfortable patio. We enjoyed sitting out there with our pup.

If you're like us and dig deep into the reviews, we want to correct some misinformation. The shower is larger than the standard 32", and we took successive unhurried showers and didn't run out of hot water. The location is private and quiet. Real value for the money.

House was great, pretty private, great pool. Lots of space for the family and there were snacks out for us which everyone really enjoyed. Had everything we needed for our stay. The only negative about the house was listed no pets. But there clearly were pets that lived there. Being highly allergic to animals with fur that probably would have not chosen that location. I needed to medicate the whole time. Other than that the home was what we needed.
