Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sulawesi

We were here for a month. It's a remarkable place, teak wood throughout. It's an older house/former hotel with an absolutely amazing team of caretakers, Vino and his wife Sal. They went above and beyond for us at every single moment. I think it's the perfect base if you are diving at one of the dive resorts nearby. It gives you a chance to save vs staying at the resort. Manado isn't a well-developed tourist area, and Kalasey less so. You will always be able to find an Indrive or grab car, and the people are incredibly kind. Just remember that if you are a westerner you will stand out, get your photo taken, all that, if you decide to do things outside of the bungalow or in town. It can be a bit much, though that has nothing to do with the property. Manado city has a few good malls and great restaurants. Hapa Kitchen is one we loved. Three Key things: AC works. Pool is amazing. And it has literally the best wifi coverage and speed of any place I have ever stayed. I was shocked. So good

We had such a nice stay here! The cabin is located in the middle of rice fields and beautiful hills, a very peaceful atmosphere. It is only 10 minutes by motorbike to the city center. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shower had warm water. Christian was very helpful and flexible in arranging our transport, and his nephew even drove us around the area.

Cute little barn with almost direct access to volcano hiking path. Amazingly friendly and helpful host that goes above and beyond. Everything you need to do some cooking in the little house plus the BBQ outside. Comfortable bed. Beautiful surrounding with view of the volcano. Only small negative to mention is that the houses around often play very loud music, several at the same time. Didn't bother us too much though. Overall we loved our stay here.
