Vacation rentals in Strathbungo

This was our fourth stay at Joe’s apartment and needless to say we had another amazing stay. We love the flat and it’s in the perfect location. Joe left us with some lovely thoughtful touches including shortbread and a bottle of wine in the fridge which we enjoyed very much. I’d highly recommend Joe’s place to future guests and look forward to staying again.

A totally peaceful and beautiful getaway for the festive period. Private, secluded, yet within easy reach of the hustle of town life. Would definitely recommend to both friends and family alike. We enjoyed our time away, a Christmas to remember. Thank you.

This is now the second time we have stayed here for NYE, (lodge 1 and lodge 3) however forgot to review due to going right back to work the first time. We’d spent ages looking for a place to stay last year, as we wanted a lodge with a hot tub with some nice views and in a quiet area, when this popped up so we booked. It was amazing, easy to get to, private and out of the way with amazing views of the sun setting, there’s a supermarket within a 5 minute drive for food drinks etc. The lodge itself is perfect, warm spacious and clean, well equipped kitchen and large TV and hot tub for a chill out at the end of the day. Would 100% recommend to anyone, they are brilliant hosts and we will 100% be returning for a 3rd time! Cheers Matthew

The proximity to the city centre was amazing. We had a rental and driving was quick. Please note there are 3 flights of stairs so keep that in mind when packing your luggage as there is no lift in the building. The check in and out process was super easy and Diana was very responsive to any questions we had, including accommodating an early check in, which was incredibly appreciated coming off a transatlantic overnight flight. The pictures are very representative of the unit and it was super clean. Thank you for hosting us Diana. We enjoyed our stay.

Lorraine’s place was great, big living space and comfortable beds with an apartment full of great amenities. 9 of us across 2 apartments was very spacious. Would definitely stay here again. 5/5

Cat's Castle was an absolute magical stay for myself and my family. The house and grounds were immaculate and so peaceful, & Paul and Gemma were so easy to communicate with. Everything about it was wonderful and we really enjoyed exploring the nearby towns!

What a beautiful property, equipped with everything we needed. It was the perfect place to spend some special family time leading up to Christmas - so cosy, clean, comfortable and it felt like a home away from home. Helpful, friendly hosts and a great location. Can’t recommend enough and we hope to return one day if we’re lucky :)
