Excellent welcome from Stéphane and his wife, very friendly who were able to tell us the good places in the area (restaurant, pastry baker, and above all an excellent caterer). Very good advice on the use of the Rhinau ferry for the crossing of the Rhine allowing very quick access to Europa Park. This large capacity cottage is also very well located for visiting Alsace and in particular the wine route. I highly recommend and will not hesitate to come back with family or friends . The property was beautiful and beautifully located in a very private and quiet courtyard at the center of Epfig near the church. The courtyard is spacious with plenty of private parking. The facility was spotless and cozy (with amazing showers!). Epfig is an ideal location from which to explore all of Alsace being midway between Colmar only 25 minutes to the south and Strasbourg similarly to the north with all the beautiful little villages to visit in between the two. The building exteriors are wonderfully old but the interior is fully renovated with everything in perfect working order. We toured villages during the day and lunched out but then cooked at the apartment in the evening. We had all that we needed, including a superb grill that we put to good use. Of course there are very nice restaurants within easy walking distance. Claude is extremely friendly and responsive and made sure we felt right at home. Completely delightful.

Great cottage ,very clean and very well equipped. No shops and restaurants nearby, a greenway to recommend. Great potential in terms of walking and maybe by bike but little info since there is no tourist office nearby. Quiet and cool place. Regret that checkout is as early as 10am. Recommended for a nice stay especially if the sun is out. We'll definitely be back.

The place, the hospitality... really in line with what we had read and seen in photos. Jean-Benoît gave us great advice, he asked us if everything was going well after the first day, we felt very comfortable. Unfortunately we did not have time to discover everything he had recommended ^^. Proof that we didn't get bored despite the bad weather. The small house is furnished with style and this gives a pleasant impression of space despite the fact that it is small. It's perfect for 3–4 people! The garden, the house, everything is done to have privacy even when close to the hosts. Thanks to them for the delicious little bottles of kirsch tasting. The only small advice we can give them is perhaps to specify that there are books and board games available for children (but not "toys" like dolls, etc., so that the children don't have false expectations about it)... but it's really a detail.

A family of four - we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay at the gite. The house was equipped with a highchair, baby bath and a travel cot (with a soft, comfortable mattress), which we appreciated. Our children, aged 8 and 2, had a wonderful time playing in the garden and feeding the goats! Lots to do within a relatively short drive and a supermarket in the village. The neighbours were very friendly and gave our boys some chocolate Easter eggs!

We had an excellent stay and only have positive things to say about this place—our whole group thoroughly enjoyed it. The property was clean, well-equipped, and very warm, which was perfect for our December visit. The private backyard was a highlight, especially for our dogs. Its location is very convenient, right on the main road, making it easy to reach Strasbourg and explore nearby Christmas markets like those in Colmar and Riquewihr. Highly recommended!

Nina's Cottage was an excellent choice for spending Christmas in Alsace. The location made it very easy to get to Colmar, Obernai, Freiburg & Baden-Baden in Germany, and Strasbourg. And Selestat is a must visit. We had a lovely welcome from Angele and the cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas. There were very thoughtful touches such as homemade biscuits, chocolates and plenty of coffee pods for our nine night stay. The space works well and looks exactly like the photos. Comfortable bed, great bathroom and a cosy living room. We also enjoyed a lovely evening with Angele and her husband where they shared some local specialities with us. It made a lovely week very special. But the absolute stand out is Angele and how helpful she is. Angele was able to secure a dentist appointment for me at one day's notice and even went to the trouble of going in with me to make sure there were no communication issues. Thank you so much! We absolutely recommend a stay here.

Great stay for the holiday season despite rainy weather. Gite where nothing is lacking, you can feel at home away from home! Nothing to complain about cleanliness. Breathtaking view from the terrace, especially when the day rises in the early morning. Small gifts on arrival very much appreciated. Thank you Fred for your warm welcome, as well as for the trust. The accommodation is ideally located 35 minutes from all the Christmas markets and other visiting points, such as the Château du Hautkoenisbourg, access to the hiking trail etc... The only downside is parking as the space reserved for the listing is permanently occupied by the neighbors. We will gladly repeat the experience.

Everything was super.The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Even when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house, they quickly responded and were happy to help. Also when we couldn't get the fireplace to run, they were quick to help and swing by. The house is very modern and accommodates all the needs of adults and children. All the rooms had shutters that could make the room dark, making sleeping with young children very easy. From the kitchen, one could see the small garden, also making it great for also smaller children to play outside while parents could watch and cook meals from insid. All necessary kitchen equipment was available, even seasonings and oils! The check-in and out were very clear in description and easy to follow the steps. One tiny recommendation I would suggest is to be able to check out at 11 instead of 10.That would make the morning with small children a little easier. I highly recommend this location.I would come again anytime. thank you for having us!

Very nice place to stay where you feel at home. Family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children (9/7/1 year), we enjoyed having space and not being cramped. Baby equipment: folding bed, highchair, plastic dishes were very nice. Also positive: the board games that allowed us to have a good evening. The accommodation is in a great location, close to the most beautiful villages in Alsace. There is no private parking but we still found a relatively close space.

Our stay in Birkenwald was a lovely experience. The cottage, located in a very quiet environment, is comfortable, extremely clean and very well arranged. Everything is decorated with taste. My family and I can only recommend staying with Matthieu who is an ideal host: friendly, helpful, welcoming, attentive, responsive. We'll be happy to come back to Birkenwald for a stay at La Grange.

Together with the extended family, we spent very nice days over Easter in the well-equipped, sparkling clean, and child-friendly house! We were very pleased about the nice reception with chocolate eggs, Easter lamb and sparkling wine. On the spacious grounds we could play boules and football, barbecue, visit the chickens and the goat... and also in the house there was enough space to play with the grandchildren. We had a great time despite the rainy weather that wasn't there. Only 10 minutes from the golf de souffleheim where we had a competition. The house is large very functional and very pleasant with a very large green area. A foosball table for fun evenings. José welcomed us perfectly and remains available. We would definitely recommend Rebecca and Daniel's house.

Charlotte welcomed us in person and was very friendly. She was very helpful wrt suggestions on Christmas markets and the local boulangerie. The house was cosy and warm during our stay, with excellent insulation. The pellet stove is the best! We enjoyed being so close to Strasbourg and visited 5 Christmas markets in 3 days. We had a lovely time and will recommend Charlotte's place anytime.
