Vacation rentals with breakfast in Strafford County

The bed was super cozy, the host was responsive and friendly, and the cats were adorable! I had a nice evening with the host chilling with the cats (and petting and playing with them) while watching TV, and when I stepped out for dinner I found a great place following her recommendations. The breakfast was great! The French toast was delicious, and the timing was perfect - made fresh shortly after I came downstairs, close to the time we’d discussed the day before. Check-in and check-out were simple too.

The minute we walked in we felt at home - the house is beautiful and is in a great location - quiet but close to Portsmouth NH for great shopping and restaurants and close to Kittery outlets. The beds were comfortable and the layout perfect. The back yard was private and peaceful with beautiful gardens. Heidi was a great communicator - warm and welcoming - like a long lost friend. We will plan another trip to Heidi's house - we loved it so much and are thankful Heidi's family is willing to share it as a home away from home for us

Tracey was a phenomenal host for the week of my stay. Her house is clean, has all the amenities you need, and as a host she made me feel comfortable right away. This location is central to so much of Maine and New Hampshire that your possibilities are endless. And the house itself is so unique that it totally blows away any hotel. Cannot recommend this place more!!

Thank you Julie & Rob for hosting! They hosted a group of several groomsmen and the groom for the night before the wedding, and it was the perfect place for us all to gather and get ready. They were very flexible to let a couple of us check in early, then the rest of the group to arrive after the rehearsal dinner. Julie had every detail covered, whether it was checking for food allergies, seeing if we had coffee preferences, and made it feel like we were staying at home. It was wonderful to meet their dog, Judah, and enjoy a coffee in the morning on the front porch, or to play a little pool in the game room to wind down on the night before the wedding. They were very welcoming and chatted to get to know all of us a little, and it really added a personal touch. Great location in Rochester, would highly recommend staying here!!

My husband and I came to Dover to see a show. We stayed at the Inn and it was perfect! It was easy to find in a lovely area. Our room was on the third floor. The room was handsome. The bed was very comfortable. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast in the dining room. I recommend this lovely inn and I thank the owners.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Julie and Rob's Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Julie and Rob are truly exceptional hosts—they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, and their kindness and hospitality made my stay so special. A highlight of my stay was spending time with their amazing pet, Judah. Judah was so friendly and well-behaved, adding an extra touch of warmth and joy to my visit. The location was ideal, and the neighborhood was friendly and safe, perfect for a family getaway. The little touches, like fresh flowers, amazing breakfast, etc showed how much care and thought they put into making their guests feel comfortable and cared for. I can't recommend Julie and Rob's place highly enough. It was like staying with family, and I can't wait to come back. Thank you, Julie and Rob, for creating such a lovely and memorable experience!

This is a very special place for those who are seeking a different experience, nature based. There are 10 acres they own, plus 100 unoccupied heavily treed acres behind. There is a fabulous bog, streams and interesting assortment of trees. The house is well set back from the quiet rural lane. It was under a 1/2 hour to Dover or Portsmouth or the UNH campus. Easy drives. There are 3 bedrooms, very spacious and comfortable, and a very comfortable sitting / living room. Our breakfasts were very good, and more than ample. When you book if you want single beds, book room 1, otherwise rooms 2 or 3. We were in room 3. (each room is a separate booking on Airbnb apparently) If daylight wakes you up, bring a night mask. Great place if you have a family or friends you are travelling with and want to stay together. Ron has had an interesting career and is a handyman extraordinaire. Julie is an artist, involved in local theatre. Both are a treat to talk to. Highly active!

This is a cute bed and breakfast. Everything is victorian style (or at least that's what I think you'd call it). It is comfortable and the hosts are great. There is so much tea!! That was my favorite part. It is also located within walking distance of downtown Dover, which is nice. This particular room is a suite with two distinct rooms, which we enjoyed.

Beautiful stay in every way. The grounds are incredibly lovely with special sitting areas for relaxing, chatting, or reading. We stayed in “The Chamber” and loved the little sitting area outside our door. Breakfast was so delicious. I chose blueberry lemon pancakes. And was pleased with the real maple syrup. Pamela’s attention to detail and level of quality service is impeccable. Loved staying here. Can’t wait to return. Next time I will be sure to make a reservation for their special events and high teas. Five star stay in every way!
