Miss Rankin's Cottage was a delight. The place was exactly as described - in a remote and beautiful part of the Scottish borders, with lovely walking and cycling nearby. This was just what we were looking for. The house was clean and well presented. Very warm and comfortable, and with plenty of running around space for the dogs. Kitchen was well equipped; we didnt need anything that wasnt provided and the instructions were comprehensive. Liz was helpful without being intrusive (she lives next door - although you can barely see the house from the cottage, it is only a stones throw away) There are sandy beaches and cliff top walks less than 30 minutes drive away and we even managed part of a day in Edinburgh, which is just over an hour. We could have stayed longer. Very nice and comfortable for a quiet stay away from it all for a few days. Thank you Liz.

The location is very good and the apartment is fully kitted out. Valentina was very good with her communication and super friendly.

We had a lovely stay with our family and dog, the house was very nice and clean & the surrounding town and area was lovely. We spent a day just walking around and exploring, everyone was very friendly and most places were dog friendly! Super handy to train station for a day trip into Edinburgh with minimal hassle, over all a great trip away! Would definitely recommend and hopefully be back!

This was our second visit to Beach Haven and we've already booked again for next year. The flat is so cosy and perfect for dog walking on the beach. North Berwick is lovely in December, with all the Christmas decorations on the high street. We appreciated the Christmas tree in the flat too! Barry's place is a perfect place for a quiet, restful break - just what we needed.

Booked very last minute for September weekend. When we arrived caravan was spotless, Maggie had drinks and snacks laid out and bread and milk in the fridge which was perfect as we arrived late. Lovely spacious caravan beautifully decorated with lots of little extras made us feel right at home. Beds and pillows very comfortable, we slept so well. Definitely be back and highly recommend. Maggie was super helpful and very friendly.
