this spot was a great home base for three adults and a baby while we were in town for a week. we were able to get to nearby places quickly from this location and it was so nice to stay in this comfortable and functional (we cooked a lot) home. the weather wasn't on our side for sitting outside but that would have been the cherry on top. Derek was a great host - very responsive and helpful.

First of all I would like to thank Carmen for letting me stay at her beautiful home. I enjoyed the time I spent at the air bnb even though it was a very busy weekend for me. Carmen home was clean and comfortable, also a very convenient location close to so many places. The home is also pretty spacious I was able to have a nice family dinner and gathering there. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful air bnb, Carmen was a great host Thankyou again.

Excellent stay! Hosts were responsive and very helpful. The house is absolutely beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. The location is perfect and we had a wonderful time. You will be surprised to be able to see the sunrise from your bedroom, have cocktails on a little beach on the brackish Shrewsbury River with windsurfers trying their luck, walk to Bahr's seafood resto or Proving Ground tavern with good beer and food and views -- great location and quiet at night and interesting to watch clammers ride out in their little boats in the morning.

We came over to New York for a 1 week holiday, where one of the options was this AirBnB, and after looking around we ended up settling with this one. Bill has been a great host, always proactive and quick to respond when there was something we didn't have. the Airbnb itself is as described, comfortable for 2 people. We were concerned that it might not be worth enough given we visited in December, though thankfully there is a good central heating; the additional heaters weren't required, but the heated blanket was a nice touch. Lovely locations nearby, and we actually spent half the week just staying in Oceanside as everything was a walking distance away. Getting into Central New York City is best done by walking 20 minutes to Oceanside station, and taking the LIRR straight in. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit NYC. We'd happily stay here again if we visited NYC again.

We loved the open layout of the kitchen, dining room, and living room! Was so fun for our group of 6 to cook and watch movies. Olivia was a great host and the house was comfortable. Beds specifically were very comfy! Close enough to walk to the beach, nice even during the winter.

You are immersed in a neighborhood here, with a friendly and professional host living next door. Lots of local eateries rather than chains, and good proximity to Atlantic Highlands, Sandy Hook and Sea Bright. Reminds me of my childhood summers at the Jersey Shore. The place is small but clean and well thought-out from the guest point of view.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was a perfect size for our family and our son had a great time playing in the yard and the playground right next door. Our hosts were super responsive the couple of times we needed something. We'll definitely be back!

Natalia‘s place was so great for our huge family even though it is a house divided into it is very roomy. The basement is big enough for the whole family and overall it’s just a great place you feel right at home. Highly recommend everything is walkable

This house was a lovely place for our family trip! Our party of 4 had plenty of room to spread out, beach is just a few min away, along with restaurants, shops etc. There is plenty of room in the backyard, but my family really enjoyed sitting on the front porch and playing cards. Everything we needed was there, and all questions answered quickly! I would definitely book again!!

What can you say that hasn't been already said by previous reviewers. John's house in Freeport is a gem. Perfect getway for weekend for our family. We were greeted by a nice bottle of wine and a generous basket of snacks (always a nice touch). The house was spacious and super clean. The beds were extremely comfy and the kitchen was well equipped for anything you may need. So many fun things we really didn't get to take advantage of (Tiki Room, fire pit etc..). But the crowning jewel is the location on the water. If you just want a place to sit and relax as the sun rises or sets (yes you get to see both from the back deck) this is your place. John was a gracious and responsive host. We hope to be back next year.

Mathew was very accommodating and very responsive. His location on the board walk was very centrally located. Walking distance to everything. He allowed late check out which was nice. It was my first time on the island so was not aware of many rules and regulations. I suggest researching before booking.

A perfect place to stay! Megan is a great host! Space is lovely and the added touches make it special , so special I am coming to stay another week! Bed is cozy with beautiful sheets and extra towels . She provides beautiful soaps and extra toiletries . Bigger and better than the pictures ! We rented this house for a family trip huge rooms and 3 bathrooms it was perfect more than enough space . Great location . The only issue was I couldn’t adjust the heat but once I reached out to Tiran he responded and adjusted for me . I highly recommend this property for anyone visiting nyc and New Jersey

We had a wonderful stay at Olivia’s place. It is exactly as advertised, and the front porch and back patio are even bigger than pictured. There were a ton of beach accessories provided with the house- beach passes, chairs, bikes, towels. It’s a great location, short walk to both the beach and restaurants/shops. Olivia could not have been nicer, and was extremely communicative and responsive. Would definitely rent again!
