Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Steenwijkerland

We stayed with the family for a few nights in the accommodation and felt very comfortable there. The accommodation is very well equipped, you will really find everything. In good weather there is a great garden by the house and access to the lake right next door. Numerous play equipment and water sports equipment are also available. We had a great time and would be happy to come back.

We felt super comfortable in Paul's house! Great house for 8 people as you have 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus a separate toilet. There are screens on all windows, which is very practical. Very great garden and terrace, everything very clean. The kitchen is totally well equipped, we didn't miss anything! Very quiet location, but the nearest town with supermarket is not far away. The swimming spot/sailboat is across the street, which did not bother us. We definitely want to come back 😊

Lovely, spacious house in one of the most beautiful places in Friesland, located directly on open water with beautiful views over a lake (It Piel, borders Heegermeer and the Fluessen) and the countryside. Recommended for those who love peace, space and the Frisian lakes.

Ideal accommodation to enjoy the calm of this beautiful region. Gertjan is responsive and considerate. The accommodation is very well equipped and very pretty.

It was just outstanding. We had a great time with friends and were able to relax perfectly at the place. You sleep excellently in the beds, the sauna and surroundings make the stay perfect. In addition, the host was always available. It was just 10/10. We'd love to come back!

Freek and Edith are fantastic hosts and the apartment we stayed in was beautiful - modern, clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. We had everything that we needed. Freek and Edith are lovely, lovely people. They were friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to ensure that we had everything that we needed/wanted. There’s a fabulous BBQ area and outdoor furniture. We loved our stay with Freek and Edith.

What a wonderful place to relax and unwind! This cottage offers everything you need for a perfect weekend away. We enjoyed the absolute silence and the beautiful nature. The house is spacious and cozy, with a fantastic loft that makes the space so light and airy. The area is ideal for a few nice walks and the children loved discovering nature. The hospitality of the owner made the picture complete , you notice that a lot of care and attention has been put into this house. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life!

I had a really nice time in Jantina's apartment and felt very comfortable. The apartment is well appointed and Jantina was always available for questions.

We had a nice midweek with Atsje and family. The cottage was nicely located on the waterfront. The cottage is tastefully and efficiently furnished. We have been using the Kayak. The setting is beautiful for cycling. The cozy shopping street of Joure is recommended!

Glamping was the first time for us. Was a little smaller than on pictures but was cozy. Coffee maker is with taps, there is not a toaster. The toilets and showers are outside. These are very clean. All staff are very friendly and helpful.

We had a good stay at this apartment! The reception was very friendly and helpful, we felt immediately welcome. The apartment is located in a quiet location, perfect for relaxing. Also, everything was clean and well maintained. We can highly recommend this property

Amazing cabin with amazing nature. Loved it all

Wonderful stay. The place was lovely, exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Sjoukje made sure that everything you need is provided (plenty of towels, toiletries, fully equipped kitchen, coffee and tea selections and many more) and she was responding super fast to our messages. The garden was huge and very well fenced so your dog can run around safely. Our little furry friend and us are fully recommending this stay.

We enjoyed very much in this great spot. A spacious house with lots of freedom around the house. Highly recommend if you like peace and quiet.

Beautiful, small accommodation. There are many opportunities to occupy themselves on site, especially for children. Very good communication with the hostess.

A great but also really small (about 9 sqm) tiny house. With the view of the field and the many animals on the farm, we really had a great weekend. A small kitchen is one house in the house, a larger kitchen and sanitary facilities. Nanda & Peter went the extra mile with small details. Recommended 👍🏼

We felt right at home right from the beginning. The nature, the fireplace, the sauna were just pure relaxation. We enjoyed every single day and would recommend to anyone and would love to come back!

Beautiful, cozy cottage in a beautiful green setting. The accommodation has all the comforts, you can cook extensively (oven available, lots of herbs, oil, etc.). There is a beautiful book ready (which you will also receive in pdf), in which everything you need to know is described in detail, including nice tips. Nienke also responds super quickly via app and likes to contribute ideas about activities. We were also allowed to check in a little earlier and check out later, very nice.
