My wife, my mother and I were in town for a family wedding. The place was spotless and in close proximity to everything we needed (including the wedding). Very convenient and comfortable. Good information provided on local restaurants, stores and sights of interest. Free welcome snacks was a nice touch. Madison was very responsive - especially after I accidentally locked us out at one point. Highly recommend. A great place and a great value!

What an absolutely lovely home right on Bass Lake! The location was perfect and the house itself was immaculate and perfect in every possible way. Lots of touches that put it above and beyond but my favorite part were the linens and pillows—so rare to sleep better away from home but it was incredibly comfortable.

This family was kind enough to open up their home to us for an extended stay after our family had a house fire. They were happy to help and checked in on us throughout our stay. Communication was easy and they were very quick to respond. The home is beautiful and the bathrooms and showers are amazing. Our whole family enjoyed the ample outdoor space and activities. There is pleanty of space for privacy and lots of areas where the whole group can hang out together. We are very grateful for this family and their property.

Modern / Spacious Unity Log Cabin on Bass Lake

We had a wonderful time staying at this location! The cabin was beautiful and so spacious. The beds were SO comfortable, it felt like sleeping on a cloud just what we needed after a long night of driving. The house was right on a private lake and it was so nice being able to sit by it. We spent time skipping rocks and talking and it was so peaceful. Allen was so responsive and nice and let us check in and out later, he was an amazing host! If you are looking for a cute location to spend time with friends I would definitely recommend this place!!!:)

Kathie was exceptional, she made us feel right at home. She was helpful and responsive. Our stay was everything we wanted it to be and more. The place is just lovely and quaint, perfect for what we needed. The lake was dreamy and stunningly beautiful! I would stay here again and again!

Such a wonderful place!! Loved this lake house-and the property! Victoria and Kevin were absolutely amazing to work with- and so was John (and his daughter) at the Pontoon rental that Victoria recommended. We had a great family vacation- highly recommend!

This house was perfect for our Girls weekend away! House had everything we needed and the outdoor deck was so nice- we spent lots of time out there. We walked to the Brunch Pub for breakfast on Saturday as it was an easy mile walk. Love the location of this house and we will definitely return. Two things that really stuck out to me- the amount of towels. There were a very good amount of bathroom towels and beach towels. You don't always find that in every rental. The other thing I thought was super helpful was that the light switches were labeled and we didn't have to guess what switch went to what light. This might seem like a silly thing to comment on but I thought it was so helpful and was just an extra consideration that not all rental owners do. Really really enjoyed our visit to Hampton House.

Cute place right near the lake and local restaurant options. We were there for a wedding at DnB wedding barn which is very close by and easy to navigate to. This is a fantastic option for out of town wedding guests like us. It was cute, comfortable and cozy and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived.

Everything was great plenty of space for kids to run and explore. Loved the swing! House was spacious for all. Bed’s were all comfortable and very hotel clean! We vacation every year with our family this was a great trip. My goal was to be in a nice home in a town with not much to do so we had to be together… success!

So we were here for Thanksgiving 2024 and this house was perfect for our family and so beautiful! The main level of this house was so spacious and the open floor plan held everyone and we never felt that we were on top of each other. The other levels in this house were great and everyone had a space to go off to. The loft bedroom for the kids was amazing and the cousins had a great time up there! The kitchen was stocked with everything that I needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner and there are also lots of things for the kiddos to do inside. We never heard one I’m bored while we were here! We had a great time and felt like it was home! Thanks to our hosts for sharing this beautiful and well equipped property with our family and making our Thanksgiving one of the best we ever had!

We had a nice getaways weekend at Linda’s! It was so nice to let our puppy freely run as we came from the city. The barn was decorated for Valentine’s Day and Linda left us a delicious treat. The couches were extremely comfortable and we slept well in a dark room. We’d love to return!

Koontz Lake Waterfront Cottage- Near Notre Dame

GREAT place to stay! Had a reunion with some friends and it was just the place for us. Cozy and cabin type feel. Fit all of us well. Everything was clean and worked great. The outdoor area was perfect for yard games and spending some time on the lake. The living room was a great spot for us to play board games and catch up. Would definitely stay again! :)

Cozy water front lake house!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. Samantha even had a very helpful book full of nearby restaurants and destination spots. It was even walking distance from one of the restaurants. And the view across the lake at sunset was wonderful. One thing to be mindful of. Bass Lake sits on the edge of central time zone. So if you’re staying here, but have plans in South Bend or Culver, just keep in mind the time difference (our phones automatically updated while at the house, so we were always leaving an hour “early”). We definitely recommend this place!!

Betty was great to deal with. Very friendly. The house was very clean. The coffee and snack after was a great touch. Bathroom was very clean. The bed was comfortable (I’m very picky). I would definitely stay again!

Lovely stay right on the lake! We enjoyed the fire pit and back deck immensely. An issue came up which Michael fixed lightning fast. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Our family with kids and grandkids of 12 very much enjoyed our stay. Loved the layout of home and size of bedrooms and baths. Extremely impressed with kitchen and all the cookware available! Wanted somewhere close to Michigan city but out of Michigan city . It was perfect for meeting our family needs. Would definitely stay here in this clean well maintained home again!
