Great place for travelers looking to visit the bay area or for families visiting relatives here in Alameda. 5 min drive to Alameda Ferry and 2 min walk to SF bus (25 mins to SF). This is a 1 bedroom, one bath duplex in a great neighborhood. Although its a 1 bed unit we do have a set of bunk beds in the bedroom and a pack-n-play crib for a infant. Its great for a couple or a family of 4 who would rather have access whole house rather than squeezing into a hotel room.

Gourmet kitchen, Wolf range, SubZero refrigerator, formal dining room, two (!) living rooms. Two king beds. One double bed, + 2 comfy sofas for extra guests. Private back yard under redwood trees. Hot tub, Weber grill, and ping pong!

We never wanted to leave! beautiful place, extremely gorgeous surroundings, lots to do nearby, great recommendations from Stefan and all the guests felt like they had the best room. I loved how pelicans would fly by right at eye level, we could pop down the beach in less than a minute, I could look out and see the endless ocean from almost any room, the kitchen was big and bright, and I even saw some whales migrating north!!

My whole family absolutely loved this place. We thought it was even more beautiful then we had even expected. I walked into Half Moon Bay and totally enjoyed the beautiful walk along a great trail. We also enjoyed everything in ElGranada. We couldn't have liked the place anymore then we did.

Jonathan's place was truly like home. We particularly appreciated the full kitchen, well-equipped, which enabled us to cook several meals rather than always eating out (although the neighborhood has many interesting ethnic restaurants). The beds were comfy -- both had reading lights -- and screens in both bedrooms and the living room.

The house was really clean with nice amenities and well stocked. Sheets, towels, beds and furniture were comfortable and of good quality. Nice view of the cove and a short walk to the beach - although it’s a pretty steep street so the walk back up will get your heart pumping.

This house suited our group of seven very well. The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment. The neighborhood is pleasant and peaceful. We loved the proximity to Willow Glen businesses and parks (all within walking distance). The rooms were clean and attractive. John promptly responded to our messages. We'll definitely stay here again when we return to San Jose.
