Beachfront vacation rentals in St. Mary's County

This place was just what we were looking for. Beautiful, private, and amazing views of the water. There were countless amenities available and plenty of space for everyone. Tons of outdoor space and the fishing from the private boat launch was great. The dogs enjoyed the space to run around and were able to swim in the water. The host was very proactive, providing tons of information about the property and surrounding area, and was very communicative to ensure we were comfortable. We would highly recommend and definitely look to come back again.

Impeccable experience! This Airbnb, and hosts Tim and Christie, thought of everything! The house is filled with pristine, beautiful linens, the most comfortable beds I've ever experienced in a rental, and more. Memory foam mattresses in all bedrooms, fluffy down pillows, and plenty of blankets. The sofa was super comfortable, and the large screen TV was a smart TV, so we could continue to watch our shows easily. The kitchen was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed to cook at the Airbnb. Everything looks and feels brand new at the house. The home is bright and airy, and the layout is just perfect. The bedroom in the loft was really nice to have. We slept extremely comfortably every night. The neighborhood is quiet, and the water is absolutely breathtaking. We would absolutely recommend this Airbnb 100%.. would love to return to this beautiful Airbnb. I could not give this a higher recommendation! :-)

Patrick's place was very cute and beautiful. Right by the water with enough space and privacy to enjoy a family weekend trip. The view of the water was beautiful, wish we could have come when it was warmer so we could enjoy the kayaks and the water more. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Patrick’s place! It had everything we needed for a long weekend on the shore. A very comfortable home. Patrick was extremely responsive and helpful, with easy check in and check out. The kitchen was particularly lovely and well appointed! The house number is a little small so keep an eye out. And the mosquitos were fierce - don’t forget bug spray! Thanks, Patrick!

We had 3 great night stay. Toby and Kim are super kind, they provided a lot of info. before we arrived, and responded very fast. The cattage is very nice, not very modern, but lovely, and the environment is quite and cozy.

My husband, dog, and I spent a long weekend at this house to celebrate my birthday. The views are stunning, making it a perfect place to relax, recharge, and take in the beauty of the water. The beach is just a few minutes away (head down the hill and take a left at the stop sign). It’s a private beach, and you’ll need a code to unlock the gate, but once inside, you’ll find soft sand and calm waters—perfect for families. At seven months pregnant, I found the environment incredibly comfortable and peaceful. Michael was quick to respond and very helpful, and the house exceeded our expectations—even better than the pictures! Since we love cooking, we were thrilled with the variety of appliances and kitchen tools. The sunroom was our favorite spot to unwind and enjoy the scenery. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we look forward to returning with our baby next time! Thank you very much, Michael!

It was a comfy stay in a beautiful marinia. The house was clean and the beds were soft. It did well for me and my 4 kids who each had their own bed. The landscape of the place and the sunsets were great! It was quite, tranquil with beautiful warm and sunny days. I would go back. Very easy check in and out.A lot to do in the area.

Abbie’s place is located on a beautiful place right next to water with a very peaceful and serene setting. The house was very clean and had lot of amenities for a water front home. We had a wonderful stay at the place and also explored Montross downtown while we were there, which is about a 10 minutes drive. Abbie is very responsive and promptly answered all our questions and concerns and was very flexible with our checkin check out times. I would really recommend the place.

The area and view are beautiful and the home's decor is welcoming. The home was very comfortable for our family group and had a VERY well-stocked kitchen. The master bed was VERY comfortable as were the rest of the beds. My husband and I slept well. We all felt at home. MJ was very responsive when I had questions and communicated about the property in clear, concise language. The host provided many outdoor recreation opportunities, which included paddleboards, kayaks, and life jackets. There was a nice sized pool but we were visiting out of season so we did not use it. The exercise room downstairs has a lot of equipment. We all enjoyed our time together. Our family is asking to come back again next year. Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our week at Ppb! It was so relaxing and peaceful. The neighborhood is quiet. There were 11 of us and plenty of room. The house was clean and accommodating. The pool was perfect for hours of fun! There is a public boat ramp right down the road which made it easy to take our jet ski out every day. The beach is quiet and private. We would definitely stay here again!

Terry’s place was just what I was looking for. This quiet neighborhood is located on the beautiful cliffs along the Chesapeake. The beach was truly magical. It was so peaceful and I enjoyed walking along and collecting fossils and shells. Terry was such a friendly and gracious host making sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. She let us use her space and guided us to many activities and attractions nearby. We really enjoyed hiking the nearby wooded trails as well. She even took us sailing! We look forward to visiting Terry’s place again!

This was a wonderful getaway for my family and friends. We had two toddlers that loved the river beach and pool. There were plenty of toys to keep the kids and adults busy!

We had a great time at Sea Glass Paradise! The private beach is gorgeous and the fenced yard made it more fun for our dogs to run around without leashes. We spent a lot of time in the screened in porch looking at the spectacular view and enjoying the warm weather. Beds and couches were extremely comfortable. TVs in 3 rooms which is nice if you have kids along. This is definitely one of our favorite rentals and hope to be back late spring / early fall. We did not know the banks of the Potomac were so clean and clear. Great sandy bottom, nice pier, hot tub, lots of outdoor seating and fire pit - so easy to enjoy the location! One suggestion to renters is to bring your bug spray!

Pam’s place is absolutely beautiful. It’s filled with thoughtful touches and things to make your stay comfy and cozy. It is spotless and has everything you need to prepare meals. We enjoyed spectacular sunrises and many different birds. The sound of the waves crashing is so relaxing that you’ll want to sit on the large screened in porch all day and night. If you do get it out, there are several wineries and some amazing historical sites nearby as well. We loved it. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait to return.

We've stayed in this area several times and David and Johanna's property was the most secluded with the additional of a large yard, tidal pond, small private beach area and new dock. The beds and linens were great and the heating system top notch since we were there when a cold front came through. The kitchen was the best stocked we've seen and we had everything we needed for a Thanksgiving meal. It is clear that the home still has a few renovations in the works but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our stay.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great communication from owner. House was clean. Proximity to the ocean was fantastic. Great views and we really enjoyed shark tooth hunting. As stated in the listing, trash had to be taken to a nearby facility. Very easy (and free) process. Would definitely stay here again. 5/5

Darling bay front home! We were able to relax and unwind which is exactly what we were looking for. The house was exactly as described and Jake was super communicative and helpful.

The location was beautiful, the house was very well maintained and the host thought of everything to make the trip awesome. Highly recommend!

This was SUCH a beautiful property. The house, the lot, the dock, the water, the sun rises and sun sets—absolutely perfect for a relaxing girls’ trip. I will absolutely be back with other friends and with my family.

Our family traveled from South Carolina for a funeral in LaPlata MD (a short drive away from this home). Jane's property was just what we needed to accommodate our family of 6. The house was clean, comfortable and well equip with everything that was needed. The ping pong table in the garage provided much needed entertainment when we had down time. The views were absolutely beautiful and we can not wait to come back. While there we enjoyed crabs at Captain John's crab house a couple of miles away. I would totally recommend this home to anyone that is traveling for business, leisure or just a peaceful, quiet getaway. Thanks Jane for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us.

This was a hidden gem and a oasis, perfect for a romantic getaway, and to disconnect. We were so happy with Kassandra’s home she has the most amazing view and her house is beautiful . We will definitely would like to come back with kids to let them enjoy the view and river.
