Guesthouse vacation rentals in St. Joseph County

This was our second stay here and we loved it again! This time we brought our 10 month old with us and it was perfect. I love how clean it was and it was nice having a pack and play so I didn’t have to bring one with us. We enjoyed our weekend and the short walk to the shops and restaurants at Winona Lake.

It felt great staying at this place. I think the water boiler was not quite functional during our stay, but they immediately offered a solution. We personally felt that we were okay with semi warm shower and did not want the owner to come in to fix the issue, but that's just us. Can't blame the owner for a broken water boiler. Overall, a great place for a great price.

Tom and Charyl were amazing hosts ! We had open communication throughout our stay and even got a tour upon our arrival. The airbnb was everything as described and more ! The pool was incredible and the airbnb was only a 5 minute drive to the nearest beach. They even had a binder of recommendations available to us of local attractions/things to do. Our expectations were exceeded for this trip, and we can’t wait to come back !

Exactly how it was described. perfect for the weekend, walkable to many restaurants and ND. super clean and comfortable.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and Kamile’s home. The home was easy to access, very clean, and in a great location if you’re looking for a bit more seclusion. I did think the listing was a bit misleading in terms of proximity to beach. There is private beach access but this is not located on the beach, and the picture that shows the aerial view of the beach is not of the actual property. I also felt like the furniture was a little cluttered / not right for the space. For example, the bedroom had a huge desk that didn’t fit and took up space we would have liked to use. Those two things aside, our stay was great, Kamile was very responsive and accommodating, and it was a nice little escape.

Linda and Doug were exceptional hosts. Very warm and welcoming, gave great suggestions for to-do’s/food in the area. The cabin was the perfect size for two people and the bed was comfy! We hiked through the woods and had a fire - perfect overnight getaway. The place felt isolated which is exactly what we wanted. We would definitely revisit! Thank you both so much for such a warm welcome.

My husband and I just wanted a little overnight getaway and Owen’s place was perfect! Everything was as described and more! Would highly recommend.

It was a very cute space, perfect getaway for some peace and quiet! Mary Jo was very responsive and quick to answer any questions you may have.

Ideally situated "home base" for a Notre Dame football weekend. Niles stores and coffee shops 7-8 minutes away and campus only a short drive. Good communication from owner. Will rent again

Dena was very responsive before my visit. Plenty of parking. Place was very clean and comfortable and location was great on the lake. 5 stars across the board.

We stayed in cottage B at Rainbow’s End as a late-winter weekend getaway, and we couldn’t be happier! The cottage is as cute as the photos, cuter even! It had everything we needed for a cozy weekend in, and our little dog loved walking down to the river. Dennis was very accommodating & responsive to our messages leading up to the trip, and even reached out to the local chamber of commerce in order to recommend a taxi service (we took the amtrak in to New Buffalo, and we don’t drive). Very pleasant stay, we would definitely come back to see what the town is like in the summer!

Denise &Ninel are wonderful! One of the best experiences we've had. The property is stunning and so peaceful. We enjoyed the spacious deck and walks in the woods. Pristine accommodations that were very comfortable for our party of 5. We loved being able to spend time together cooking in the well equipped kitchen, while doing puzzles and crafts at the large table. The gas fireplace and comfortable seating were perfect for latenight movies as well. The property is a great base for exploring Harbor Country, only minutes away from the beach, great restaurants, wineries, and all SW Michigan has to offer. Will definitely stay again!

Very nice host, instructions were clear, a cozy place that matched a description, views from the bedroom window are wonderful, very cozy, clean and private place to spend a weekend peacefully. Would definitely stay again!

Loved the New Buffalo Inn! Walking distance to shops, a grocery store and even the beach. Excellently maintained. Loved having coffee available and amenities like makeup wipes! Didn’t get to use the in-room sauna or hot tub , but will next time!!

I stayed here with my wife and 7-month-old son. We were in the area for a Notre Dame football weekend. It’s an easy 40 minutes to campus. The road to the guest house was a bit tricky to find but otherwise we had no issues checking in. The hosta were flexible allowing us to check in a little early. The listing describes the place well. We loved having a kitchen. There is no dishwasher but this wasn’t a concern of ours. The bed was comfortable as were the sofa and chairs. The hosts are very responsive. They even set up a pack-and-play for our son and provided us with a heads up about a bike race on our day of departure! We LOVED this place and are planning to come back.

Secluded location. Private. Very comfy.
