Pet-friendly vacation rentals in St. John's

We really enjoyed our stay. A beautiful home. A short walk to the hub of St.John’s. Very responsive host. Parking on a downhill slope made me a bit nervous but we always had a spot right by the home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. It was clean top-to-bottom, had a well-equipped kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. The location was great: right at the base of Signal Hill and within easy walking distance of all the restaurants and shops on Water Street. We had been a bit concerned about noise from the harbor but it ended up not being an issue -- we had no problem sleeping, and it was fun to watch the ships coming and going. Parking was easy and convenient - on the driveway right in front of the unit. We contacted We Host a couple of times during our visit and they were very responsive. We highly recommend this property and would happily stay again on our next visit to St. John's

If you are in the Bay Roberts area this would be the place to stay. The home itself was clean, comfortable & very beautiful. The view was awesome and we sat outside & enjoyed some cheese and fruit the was left for us by the owner as we bbqed for supper. Can not recommended this place enough & will be back in the future!!!

We loved Jeff's place and he was a great host. We are so happy we were able to meet Jeff, it was nice to be able to talk with him and get recommendations for things to see that are not necessarily "touristy". The place was very clean and spacious, loved having the backyard for our dog to play, and he loved meeting Jeff's dog Molly. The path along the river was a great place to walk. Would definitely recommend Jeff's place and would stay again.

Melissa is an amazing host! Available several times when we reached out and had a beautiful welcome box waiting for us. We had the most relaxing and fun weekend. We got to enjoy the kayaks and the hot tub! The details put into the decor and the overall feel of the house was very warm and inviting. We look forwarding to staying again!

It was the third time we’ve been there and each time we had blast! Everything is so clean and beautiful and we felt like our home!

We had a great night at the bnb. It was easy to find and it was beautiful scenery. There was lots to do there and she was a great host, I would recommend to stay there.

As a transplant Newfoundlander I was looking for a unique stay with my CFA companions. This option did not disappoint! Charming, picturesque and quiet (we stayed in off season), clean, tidy and unique location. Be prepared for an even better experience than pictured and described. Value for money very good considering there's room for 2 couples compared to paying for 2 separate hotel rooms. If hiking is of interest, you're right on the East Coast Trail. Walking distance to Quidi Vidi and even to downtown. Gordon checked in with us just the right amount and was easily accessible. Highly recommend staying here!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the house, surroundings and hospitality offered at this home! The Oceanfront location is gorgeous and there is a nice little hike walking distance from the house. We spent the morning hiking and the afternoon just sitting ocean side watching the waves and birds in the amazing grassy yard! The house itself is well stocked, clean and extremely comfortable. The great room views are incredible and everything about this house is set up for comfort! Great stay and would love to return for a longer stay in the future!

Our first visit to Newfoundland and the Portugal Cove property did not disappoint. The views are stunning, from almost every room in the house. Derrick and Rachel are lovely responsive hosts. When we inquired about whether binoculars were available, they replied they were not, but had acquired and set up binoculars on a tripod for our visit. We arrived quite late and appreciated the basket of goodies and fully stocked Keurig coffee that we could use first thing in the morning. The bed linens were all very soft and cozy and we felt at home the second we stepped in the door. This place is a gem and in such a great location - close to St John’s

Rose's place felt like coming home. It had everything we needed and more and was very cozy and comfortable. We had a great time visiting St. John's and look forward to coming back.

Harborside blue is one of the best places we’ve stayed at on Airbnb, hands-down. Jim and Michelle were so wonderful to us and incredibly accommodating for our family of two parents and two toddlers. They had absolutely everything we needed and the space is huge. This was our first time in St. John’s and our family would definitely go back and if we did we would stay here again. Thanks for everything, Jim and Michelle!

This is a beautiful little salt box house and a gorgeous location. Perfect to experience a little Newfoundland culture. Be aware there is limited parking- the space is narrow and not deep so wouldn’t fit an RV, even class B. The bathroom is downstairs and bedroom upstairs. The house is clean and fresh painted and truly lovely barring these couple of small things.

Emily’s home was wonderful for myself and my sisters, we do an annual trip together and this one did us proud. Location is fantastic for getting around Saint Johns and all the attractions and the house suited us perfectly for being out and about all day. Lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds, a great kitchen and nice little back yard for our breakfasts at home. Emily was always there to answer our questions and help us with any enquires in no notes and was a true representation and ambassador for lovey welcoming NFLD.

This is the third time we’ve stayed at Steven’s house (2 weeks in 2022, a week in 2023 and recently for another week in June 2025). As always, the house was very clean, well appointed and as pictured. Having stayed here three times in four years, we can add that the rental is well maintained and a relaxing spot to stay. Steven is still a great, friendly host. We will certainly be back for a fourth stay!

Anne’s place is first class all around. A very comfortable home in a quiet community with great views all the amenities are of a quality nature and the place is very well fitted out. Lovely welcome goodies and essentials. Beds are comfy, the appliances are high quality - good bbq!

Beautiful place to stay and great hosts! Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.

Steve was a lovely host and the cabin was fantastic. We have dogs so it was great that it was pet friendly 👌

We had a wonderful stay at Adam’s place with a large group, including kids. The huge heated indoor pool was absolutely amazing — a favorite for everyone! There’s lots of outdoor space for barbecues and relaxing, and the lower level has everything for a great time, including a cozy little sauna. The house was spotless, comfortable, and well set up, with plenty of parking. Adam is a fantastic, reliable host — very easy to deal with and always willing to help. The price is more than fair, and we’re definitely looking forward to staying again!

We did a quick girls getaway and it was a great place to stay!
