Loved the location peaceful,clean , and very relaxing weekend ,wished the weather was better but made the most of the jacuzzi as was warm , will be back.

I came to Scotland with the intent of visiting this beautiful cottage and boy am I glad I did. The home was private, quiet, spacious, and homey. We took advantage of the kitchen to cook breakfast and dinners, the fireplace inside for a cozy reading night, and the firepit outside despite some wind. Kirkaldy is a 35 minute walk from the cottage where you can access the Fife coastal path and see the small local town and stunning sea. Another thing I loved about this stay were the linens and bathrobes- so luxe and comfortable! Things to be aware of: Ubers do not access the property but jane provided local taxi numbers for us which we used. There are not many spices in the home so if you do plan on cooking with them, be sure to bring some. Finally, be prepared for sadness when you leave because you will miss this dreamy Airbnb.

We had a wonderful stay in Vicki and Jim's lovely home. The house was spotless on arrival and the check in process was very straightforward. They provided everything you could need and the private outdoor area with the hot tub and sauna was fantastic. We couldn't fault anything and will definitely return in the future.

Perfect stay, place as described and ideal for what we needed. Peace and quiet in the country in the hot tub! Met on arrival to show us around and very accommodating with the dogs with blankets and treats left out 🐶 thanks again!

Loved our stay. A really great location with good parking facilities. Our dogs loved staying here with us, and enjoyed playing with Sally and Richard's 2 dogs. Was lovely to be surrounded by a range of animals, including a free ranging pig, peacocks, sheep, chickens, goats and alpacas. The freshly laid eggs were delicious. The weather was great too which made the stay even more special.

Lovely cottage , lovely garden and location is beautiful . Michaella was very helpful with directions and making our family weekend away very enjoyable and relaxing . We will definately look at rebooking the next time we are in the area

We had a great stay at Barn Lodge. The lodge was clean and comfortable and as described. The hot tub and outdoor seating area were lovely and we enjoyed sitting looking out over the amazing view. The location was great for a day trip to St Andrews.

Wow! What can I say? Stunning house, lovely garden, EV charger, great hosts and all within easy reach is St Andrews. The whole house was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. Recommend without hesitation. Just book it already.

The house was lovely. It was maintained very well, very clean, and I could feel that Mary and James have put in a lot of thoughts for making visitors’ stay pleasant. I would definitely visit again/recommend to my family and friends.

The grounds and facilities at Panbride house were excellent. We stayed in the lodge which had a private hottub and an additional outside living space which was ideal for our trip away. Everything was well catered for, spotless and well kept (both inside and out) making the stay enjoyable for all, including our 2 dogs, who really loved exploring the large enclosed communal garden. The host Matt was very friendly, showed the right level of interaction and the welcome pack was very much appreciated and enjoyed. We would not hesitate to return.

Such a fantastic property in such peaceful surroundings, yet only a short walk to the heart of the city. Can certainly highly recommend Hollybush Cottage, was exactly as described and perfect for our family vacation. The views, the wildlife, the space to enjoy, all made it such a memorable trip for us all. Thanks to Clare for being responsive and providing us with the perfect base.

This Airbnb exceeded our expectations—the pictures don’t do it justice. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views in every direction. Rhona was exceptional, providing thoughtful touches and attention to detail that truly made our stay feel five-star. The location is perfect for exploring central Scotland – just a short drive to Edinburgh (with its stunning castle and Royal Mile), Stirling(home to the iconic Wallace Monument), and other historic gems. Whether you're interested in history, nature, or city life, everything feels conveniently close! The hosts were wonderful – so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. They made sure we had everything we needed and even helped us plan our day trips. The place itself was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, making it a true home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better base to explore Scotland’s beauty. Highly recommend – we’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a fabulous family weekend at Antonia's place to celebrate a special birthday. The house was amazing, lovely big rooms and plenty of space for grandchildren to explore. The house was warm, bedrooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Bathrooms/ showers room were good. The kitchen area was great, lots of space for food preparation. Antonia is an excellent host. Super communication which makes a huge difference. Thank you.

We had an enjoyable weekend break in the Lookout at Pitmilly. Excellent standard of accommodation and facilities and a wonderful setting, convenient for exploring the Fife coast. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The cottage was well kept and very homely. It was ideal for our family with everything we needed. The location was fantastic. Great walks for the dogs, both at the cottage and nearby (some recommended by the owner). As well as close to a number of child friendly locations and activities for our 7 year old. A large Tesco was nearby as well as some great restaurants. We found it very relaxing and enjoyed watching the garden birds, red squirrel, and local deer. The owner was very helpful, with quick responses, and all relevant information provided in advance. The only point we have to note was the limited water pressure for the shower. The owner did make us aware of this in advance of the visit. Although low pressure, it was also still sufficient, clean, and worked so we could have a shower. Thanks again to Ashley for all her support throughout and her beautiful holiday home.

I booked this property at short notice and the reason was because I saw that it had a good location and also a pool for my children to play in the water and that since I had a short time, I saw this as a good space, but the only thing is that the pool cannot be used in cold weather.... But in terms of being large, clean and tidy and having amenities, it is a very suitable place, just because I wanted to go to Edinburgh, which was an hour away. Most importantly, the owner was very kind and polite. He also lived in the property next door and was a very nice person. When we returned, our cat was lost in the garden and he helped us find it with great kindness and patience. I am extremely grateful to him, I recommend that you travel there for rest and accommodation.

We had a perfectly peaceful stay at beautiful Fingask. Very well equipped, comfortable and spacious; milk, shortbread, tea/coffee provided on arrival. We took day trips out and explored the grounds. Fingask was exactly what we were looking for for our short break - and the sun was shining too!
