TWO MINUTE WALK to the beach. We recently purchased this lake home, and carefully renovated it. The kitchen, dining room and living room (with wood-burning fireplace) are open-concept. A large 3-season sunroom spans the front of the house. Each bedroom has fresh linens, down comforters and electric heat control. The back yard is private, well-treed and fully fenced, with a gazebo. Sandy beaches, miles of walking trails and in winter, ice fishing. Our beach town is the perfect vacation spot!

Matlock General store is a 5 minute drive away for minnows, tackle and basic groceries. Sleeps 9 people! There are four bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, Bedroom 2 has a double bed, Bedroom 3 has a double/single sized bunk bed, Bedroom 4 has single/single sized bunk bed. Large Parking area for trailers and trucks.

If you are traveling to the Matlock / Lake Winnipeg area to take advantage of the recreation that Lake Winnipeg has to offer then this is a great place to stay. I traveled up from the states to ice fish with my dad and chose to stay at Lindy's place which worked out perfectly. I was able to back my truck and 14' Trailer perfectly into the driveway with lots of space to unload and it was so easy to carry things inside the house. There is a large living area to sit and relax and a large TV if you like to enjoy a movie or catch up with sports in the evening. The kitchen was very clean, organized and is large making it so nice to gather while prepping an evening meal after a great day on the ice. The bathroom is updated and was very clean which is a bonus as far as I am concerned... If you are an avid Ice Angler you are just minutes from the Warner Road ice access and I was able to drive my Polaris Ranger from the house to the ice. Great place for our trip to ice fish!!
