Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Spittal an der Drau District

We spent 2 nights in the holiday home Sunseitn. The house is large and well equipped. The view is awesome and the area very quiet. We were well received and got a tour of the house. Everything was tiptop clean and we have absolutely nothing negative to report. We would come back:-)

If you are looking for absolute peace and beatifull surroundings, while having stores and gas stations at 10 minures drive, this is it. House is authentic old-style as it appears in photos, which gives you great local feel, perfectly maintained and spotlesly clean. We stayed in January and had a lovely time, and during spring and summer there is even more available activites arround. Hosts are caring and responsive, they provide petfectly clear instructions and suggestions for the area. Great stay.

Sarah's place was very neat and clean. There were seven of us, including a dog, comfortably found space and felt completely comfortable. A small downside was the somewhat cumbersome locking of the door in the middle bathroom. We were particularly enthusiastic about the opportunity to hike directly from the house into the mountains and enjoy the fantastic view. Vanessa's place is very spacious, cozy, and well equipped. Ideal for a large group of people and great views. The road to the property is a little exposed and difficult in the dark for drivers not accustomed to the mountains. When she arrived, the house was a little cold, but Vanessa was attentive and available to solve the problem, although some radiators didn't seem to work properly. Great value for money and great cleanliness. It was a great experience for us and we definitely recommend it!

Great chalet in the immediate vicinity (5 minutes by car) to the St. Oswald/Brunnach ski slope, where there is ski rental, children's ski school/ski kindergarten and gastronomy directly on the slopes, as well as parking. We were there with two families during New Year's Eve week (4 adults, 4 children of 4, 6, 8 and 9 years) and the house is exactly as described and very comfortable. Particularly noteworthy is that you get the house very warm (oven, partly underfloor heating), as well as there was always enough hot water for showering or bathing. We've already experienced it all differently. All service providers were super friendly, from the woman in the toll cottage on the highway to serving in the gastro despite Rush Hour. The ski kindergarten delighted our little ones, so we were able to give a few hours full speed on the slopes in the morning (slope recommendation 20, 22 and 28 to the carven for advanced). We spent a wonderful 6 days here celebrating Christmas with three generations of the family. The house surpassed our expectations. Every room is spacious, cosy and flooded with light and fabulous views.

Lovely, sparkling clean apartment. Quiet place overlooking the opposite mountain. At night we heard the deer burling, great. Many hiking opportunities in the environment.

Lovely apartment for a couple or small family. Beautiful place and equipped with everything. An extensive guest information book with lots of activities, restaurants and other tips. And a very nice Lisa who is always quick to respond and ready to provide you with information. We have been happy to have been here. Thanks!

We stayed in a spacious and very cozy apartment equipped with everything we needed. The access to the lake is great, there are two trampolines for children, stand up paddles and even a pedal boat to rent. Anton and Margot are two extremely gracious hosts who care a lot and have made a lot of things possible. We felt very comfortable in Haus Bichel and will definitely return. The nearest vacation is already booked. Thanks again to Margot and Anton!

Wish we could've stayed longer! We stayed overnight during cross-Europe travel, arriving very late and departing early. Appartement is spacious, clean, comfortable. Waking up in the beautifull surroundings seeing the sun come over the mountains, we wish we could've stayed longer to explore and enjoy. Kornelia and husband were very friendly, lovely people.

Great host. Accommodation is wery well equiped and everything is clean. Very warm place with home feeling.

This place is great. Well equipped kitchen, two large bedrooms. All is fine and well furnished. Quiet location with own parking outside. Walking distance to town. Ski locations at 5min drive (Ankogel) en 30min drive (Mölltaler) offer lots of opportunity for both beginners and experts. Highly recommended!

Great place with a touch of history.

We loved our stay here. The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed as a family of four. The view from the balcony was spectacular. Beds super comfortable. We used the swimming pool and sauna in the hotel - excellent. We travelled to Bad Gastein by train. Using the local bus was extremely easy to get into town and ski each day.

Very friendly hosts and great apartment. Very spacious, very well-kept. We will be happy to come back.

Elisabeth is great host. Friendly, helpful, engaged. She gave us tips for the surroundings and always responded quickly. The apartment is full of comforts and wonderfully clean, also located in the center of Spittal a short distance from a great lake. You can walk and cycle or contemplate in the garden. Really a top location!

We spent 4 nights there as a 4-member family. We went to ski, the slopes are cca. 15-20 minutes far away. We enjoyed the warm apartment after skiing. It was very comfortable with two separate bedrooms and big kithen with table and all comforts you need (e.g. dishwasher and lots of plates and glasses etc) . Plus there was a livingroom with a big sofa also. The beds were super comfortable. There were two toilets. I think this apartment is comfortable for 6 people also. We travel a lot and we think this apartment is perfect.

Great place, central location. Super equipped for children. The sofas are not really comfortable for sleeping for 2 nights. Therefore, the accommodation is more perfect for 2 people.

Lovely apartment at hotel Cristallo, with, among other things, wonderful swimming pool, SPA, restaurant, bar, ski rental and ski school. Communication with Vincent goes very smoothly, responds quickly and is friendly. We definitely recommend it, we will come back again.

I really loved my stay here. Pavla was an excellent host, accommodating, and the place was very clean and in a good location. I’ll be back next year!
