Vacation rentals in Spinnaker Island

I can recommend this place to anyone who sleeps soundly and isn’t bothered by house and road noise. Pros: 1. Decent location. It's a 15-minute walk to the metro station, and then another 15 minutes to downtown Boston. To shorten the walk, we would cross the road opposite the house. 2. There’s a beach near the metro station, which is nice for a walk. There are also plenty of grocery stores there, along with several chain coffee shops like Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts. 3. The house has a good heating and cooling system, quickly providing a comfortable temperature. 4. It has everything needed for a short stay. The only downside is the road noise nearby. It didn’t bother us, so for us, this place offers excellent value for money.

My stay at 8 Bells by the Sea was peaceful, fun, and unique. It was a delight living mere feet from the water and feeling so connected to the tides. Robin was very helpful before and during the trip, providing me with recommendations and advice about the area. The apartment is located on a small street, filled with adorable beachy stores, restaurants, art galleries, jewelry shops, and more. The room is charmingly decorated in aquatic tones of blue and green, with thoughtful art and trinkets. There are many windows which look out onto a beautiful view of the water. The bathroom is large and was very clean. I appreciated and utilized the small refrigerator and freezer, as well as the silverware and glassware. My favorite part was mudlarking right outside the room on the beach when the tide was low. I found many pieces of ceramics, and enjoyed hanging out with the ducks and watching other birds. Highly recommend 8 Bells by the Sea for those who enjoy a cute small town by the water.

We had a very nice stay at the “Back Beach Cottages” Both cottages were well equipped and had everything you would need to feel at home. Beach chairs and towels were a definite plus and we really enjoyed the Sunday night concert from the deck. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance as well as two lovely beaches. Meghan was very responsive prior to and throughout our stay. The view was better than expected and seeing the sunrise from the cottage was a highlight of our trip.

We have stayed in several Airbnbs, but this stands out as beautiful, comfortable, and full of hospitality touches. Drinks stocked in the fridge, fresh oranges, and real roses (and orchids) are a few of the extra touches Simon used to welcome us. I would absolutely stay in this Airbnb again. Excellent in all ways.

Everything was great including the location, accommodation, cleanliness, communication etc and it is defintely a place that we will return to if we are in the area again.

Great place to stay! We were in town for a wedding (6 adults and a toddler). Was nervous about getting ready with one bathroom but there were plenty of mirrors so it ended up not being an issue. Highchair and strollers were available which was perfect when traveling with a toddler. My husband and I used the bedroom with the double bed and we were able to fit a kid travel air mattress on the floor. My toddler knows how to open doors so it was very comforting that there was a latch out of reach on the door when we all went to bed at night. If traveling with toddlers I would suggest bringing a gate for the stairs. About an 0.5 mile walk to Good Harbor Beach. Lots of towels and beach activities available for use. Plenty of yard space. Games and toys for all ages. Peaceful neighborhood for relaxing morning drinking coffee on the front porch. Kitchen stocked with all your dishes. We have had a lot of luck with AirBnB, but Valeri's place was the best so far. Literally across the street from beach access. A great restaurant next door with several others in easy walking distance. Minutes from Salem and Marblehead. The rental was fantastic. You could and picture it as being what you would want in a seaside vacation getaway or second home. Everything was clean, stocked, and organized. Beds were comfortable, and it was just a really all around relaxing environment. Loved the decor! Valeri was very nice and gave great local recommendations. I don't check to see if she's a "super" host, but she's number one for me. Loved our weekend getaway and would absolutely book again.
