Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Southport

As someone who travels with two dogs, finding a place that not only welcomes them, but also does everything to make their stay more comfy. Jeff goes above and beyond!

We had a wonderful girl's trip staying in Diana's house! We walked to the beach and to Scratch bakery (twice). The house was perfect for the five of us with a great sitting area to hang out and chat. The house was clean and the instructions for cleaning up were easy to follow.

Great location, there was construction hear by but you couldn't really hear it. There is also a train that runs maybe a 1/4 mile behind the house, you can hear it a little bit but for us wasnt a problem with 3 children in the house.

Cammie's home was right out of a beautiful coastal homes magazine. The coastal furnishings and touches were fun and lent to the overall vibe of being near the beach and ocean. The beds were very comfortable with layers of warm, quality bedding. The kitchen was very nicely equipped with all the tools necessary to cook and dine in. The path to the beach was well-worn, leading to one of the most beautiful dawn to dusk, breathtaking views. Truly the nicest AirBnB experience I've had.

Beautiful house! We loved staying. One thing we appreciated was the amount of parking for the place. Area is also beautiful in the fall.

We love Mike's place. This was our second stay. The space is perfect for our extended family gathering. The location near the beach is an added bonus.

We had an excellent stay at Mariella’s place. The cleanliness stood out to us and was much appreciated. Mariella was very accommodating and there for any questions or concerns. We felt right at home. Her home was in great location of a neighborhood for comfort and privacy while also be very convenient and a short ride to downtown Portland. I would recommend her home.

Susan's place is a fantastic base for a stay in Portland. The apartment is just as described--well appointed and extremely comfortable. (The only caution is that it is accessed by two flights of steep stairs plus steep front steps, which may not be everyone's cup of tea.) The off street parking is invaluable and the location is easy to access and convenient to all of downtown Portland. Finally, Susan is a considerate and friendly host.

The home was beautiful and exactly as described. It was stocked with everything we could have needed including coffee and coffee filters! It was the perfect location so close to downtown Portland. The area was quiet and walkable to restaurants and coffeehouses.

Nice apartment located in a lovely area of the city. Walkable to everything (restaurants, bars, venues).

We had a wonderful family staycation! We enjoyed the ability to unplug, without the distraction of a tv in the space we played lots of games. The location is great with quaint shops and various restaurants all within walking distance. Diane was an excellent host! I would definitely stay here again.

Very cozy place with good amenities! Sadie was quick to respond when we had a little bit of trouble with the front door lock and all was fine from there. Good neighborhood/location, close to restaurants.

This was a lovely and homey place to land for a few days while I attended a conference up the road. It was cozy yet spacious, with all the necessary amenities

We loved our stay. The space was beautiful and so convenient to get to great food, shopping and entertainment. Scott let us know that there was a lighted parade of boats in the harbor on one of the nights we were there which we would not have known otherwise. Beds were incredibly comfortable, kitchen was perfect and overall just a really great experience. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Portland.

The luxury condo is exactly that! The homey yet sophisticated style made us feel like we were at a 5 star resort. The huge deck facing the beach is amazing. We enjoy walking the beach in Maine even during the winter. Easy access to everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed dinner at a few of the places Sameer recommended. We will surely stay at Sameer’s lovely beach condo again!!

Debs place was great! Perfect for our weekend getaway. The location is the best in Portland- center of everything making it so easy to do and see everything you want! Very communicative host as well! We loved it and we plan to stay there again! Thanks Deb

As a return guest we know we are able to make the most of the unique space, it's rooftop water views, and comfy amenities. If you're looking for a great location with access to all Portland has to offer than this is it. We plan to come back again and have encouraged others headed to Portland to do the same.

Pat’s place was clean & cozy for our quick trip to Scarborough. While small it had everything we needed during our short stay.

We’ve stayed at Dave’s condo a couple of times now. Each time we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is in such a wonderful location in South Portland and Dave is very communicative and friendly with anything we may need. Definitely recommend a stay if you’re looking to check out the Portland area and enjoy some beach time while you’re at it!

I booked wendy's place for the wife and I's honeymoon and it was perfect, was nice and cozy and the view of the ocean was amazing. Also being so close to so many attractions gave us plenty of things to do and memories to make.
