Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Southern Tablelands

Had a lovely quiet family holiday at this beach house, kids loved the fire pit as well as the beaches so close by.

Lovely little spot and a spacious house, with great facilities. Was perfect for our stay in Canberra!

Really liked this rental, the house was very clean and well equipped it trod the line well between two much personal clutter and spartan. We had no issues and access was easy. The owner communicated well but did not ineterfere all great!!

Beautiful & spacious accommodation. Very peaceful and private. Loved going down and playing tabletennis and darts. Close walk to the beach. Loved the surrounding wildlife. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. Equidistant drive between Mogo and Narooma mt bike parks. Groceries, cafe's and restaurants are close at Moruya. We'd love to come back again!

Honestly the most amazing and peaceful place. It just felt right and good everything was easy and helpful highly recommend it.

The house was clean, inviting, modern and with magical bird song. We saw an echidna, rabbits and endless birdlife. The house is quiet for any light sleepers. The private beach is accessible for multiple properties but most of the time you are on your own. The kitchen is well appointed with great plates, cutlery and everything you need. We had all meals out each day with so many options in Bateman's Bay (our favourite was The Punt House and the Catalina Golf Club). One gentle but important suggestion: All beds are unstable, rickety and rock around with just one person sleeping and need updating with some more modern, secure mattresses and bases.

This place was amazing and exactly as described. Very clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Todd was a great host and his instructions were spot on for accuracy. The place is close to great restaurants within an easy 5 min walk, and only a couple of minutes drive from all the major visit locations. We are really happy with our stay and would strongly recommend.

Marcia’s place was clean and comfortable and walking distance across the bridge to shops and restaurants. It was a great base to explore the south coast area. Marcia was proactive in making contact and included lots of local recommendations.

We enjoyed our two night stay. Check in was easy. The instructions to collect the keys, enter the parking and unit were easy to follow. The unit was as described. The kitchen had all we needed. The beds were comfortable. Nice clean bathrooms. Can see the lake from the balcony between the buildings. The internet was good. We used the gym and it is well equiped. The pool looked good but we didn't use it. Could not figure out how to access the open roof top area shown in the photos.,Checkout was easy. The only negative for us is that there was only one set of keys which was a problem at times. Thanks.

This is my second stay, this time with my husband. We love the location, it is close to public transport options and you can walk to the city centre and Lonsdale St, so many cafes and shopping options. Highly recommend.

Olivia’s garden studio was a delight to stay in - super cosy & extremely quiet & an added bonus was the bed, which was very very-comfortable. The birds greeting you with their singing in the morning was cute. Highly recommend…

The place is great, and Sadeepa was an excellent host. The apartment had everything I needed for a long stay, and there’s heaps available within a short walk.

Aaron's executive apartment was as described and matched the photos. We chose this apartment for the location as our trip to Canberra was primarily to attend the Sydney Blue Sox v Canberra Cavalry baseball games in nearby Narrabundah. The Barton Grocer is directly across the street, and although on the small side, it stocked all the essentials we needed. It has a great selection of pastries, fresh salads, pizzas and pastas. The Parliamentary Triangle, Kingston Shops, Manuka Shops, Kingston Foreshore and the Old Bus Depot Markets are close by. Pick up and drop off of the keys is a 4 minute drive away, This is OK for 2 people but a person by themselves might have trouble parking. The check in instructions were a little confusing but Aaron quickly sorted out the problem. We didn't use the facilities of the apartment as we were hardly there but it appears that everything has been taken care of and is set up for short and long term stays. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, pets allowed but evidence of past pet accidents made the place feel less clean.

Nice extras like breakfast cereal, coffee, biscuits etc. Entry a little complicated by building security.

The unit was lovely. Very peaceful. Great back yard area. There are a couple of items that needed attention. The screen on the back door area was detached and needs attention. There was also no information on where to find the large rubbish bins. I looked but couldn't locate them. Overall it was a lovely place to stay and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Great place close to amenities and city. Lifts very helpful when travelling with a baby alone

This was our third stay at Christine's when we have visited Canberra to see family and friends. We have found it to be one of the best places that we have stayed in and highly recommend this apartment. The only downside was that our mobile phone reception and internet connection inside the apartment was very poor.

Great location, great host. I had an issue and Daniel responded late at night and it was fixed first thing the next morning. Highly recommend
