Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Southern Alberta

Three families with children stayed here for a small summer getaway. The place was great and impressive from the moment we stepped in the door. The arcade had a little surprise finding it which the kids loved. The indoor pool was loved by all. There is enough spaces that people could just hide away and read, or get together to play games and visit. Lots of options and fun to be had. With 6 adults, 4 kids, an infant and a dog no one was stepping on each others toes. The place had all the amenities you needed from soaps and towels in the bathrooms, to pool towels and toys in the wet room, as well as a pack and play for our little one. Everyone had a blast. The listing noted that some arcade games were finicky and we found all worked near perfectly except one and no one minded at all. You can tell a lot of thought had been put into this treasure on the fernie mountain, and it is truly a place worth seeing. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay in Sparwood. Great accommodation with everything you need. Mandy was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Would stay again for sure!

We came for a wedding in the area and unfortunately one relative in our party had a medical emergency and ended up in a Calgary hotel so we were extremely grateful for the amazing location on the outskirts of Cochrane which made it very easy to move between the wedding venue and Banff as well as Calgary. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed, the neighborhood was friendly with many children who invited our children in to play as well.

This was the perfect place for my friends to stay while in town to visit us. It was spacious, clean, organized and has everything we need. 4 adults stayed here comfortably and it offered a quiet relaxing place for everyone to connect. Checkin was easy and Chris was quick to respond and a clear communicator. Would highly recommend and will book again whenever we have family or friends in town for visit.

Our family had a wonderful stay here, the host communicated well and was very accommodating. We appreciated that the kitchen was huge and was well stocked with cookware, knives, utensils etc to cook great meals. Also really enjoyed the hot tub and checking out some of the little trails.

Beautiful stay. Went with a large group of guys for a stag weekend and couldn’t be happier. Very spacious and Sandra was easy to deal with.

My group and I had an unforgettable stay at Cory and Beth’s beautiful home! It was everything we hoped for and more!!! They are so helpful and friendly and made sure everything was there that we needed!! Definitely recommended staying here when you’re looking for a place in Fernie!!!

I loved staying at Lucy's place. It was a tranquil home away from home, and right down the street from where I needed to be for my business-related visit. With the sauna being located right off of the bedroom, the gorgeous claw foot tub, and the electric fireplace, I was able to relax after very long, demanding work days. The stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the Nespresso machine with provided pods made mornings an extra joy. I also appreciated the separate entry way, how private the suite felt over all, and that I was able to easily come and go without feeling that I was disturbing anyone in the house or being observed. Lucy was so friendly in all of her communications and my only regret was that I was so busy that I didn't get a chance to properly say hello during my stay. Beautiful back yard The nearby coffee shop with ample menu was also an added bonus. I wish I could have stayed a few more days and would definitely want to stay here again! 100% recommend.

No need to look any further! Book this home! This accommodation is cozy, comfortable and safe. Lovely decor, fully stocked kitchen, comfy bed and cozy fireplace. Restaurants are within walking distance. The museum is right across the street and is well worth seeing. We really loved our 7 day stay. The hosts are very responsive and kind. We hope to book again sometime in the future.

Cute and Cosy apartment in Kensington! Had everything we needed - really felt like a fully equipped home which was nice. Hosts were great and very responsive and helpful.

Was a great place to stay, had 6 co workers stay comfortably.... beautiful surroundings and would be great to stay in summer months. Could upgrade a few appliances and provide more basic things things to make cooking/ staying easier so you don't have to bring lots while travelling. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to people
