Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Southern Alberta

Three families with children stayed here for a small summer getaway. The place was great and impressive from the moment we stepped in the door. The arcade had a little surprise finding it which the kids loved. The indoor pool was loved by all. There is enough spaces that people could just hide away and read, or get together to play games and visit. Lots of options and fun to be had. With 6 adults, 4 kids, an infant and a dog no one was stepping on each others toes. The place had all the amenities you needed from soaps and towels in the bathrooms, to pool towels and toys in the wet room, as well as a pack and play for our little one. Everyone had a blast. The listing noted that some arcade games were finicky and we found all worked near perfectly except one and no one minded at all. You can tell a lot of thought had been put into this treasure on the fernie mountain, and it is truly a place worth seeing. Would highly recommend.

Clean, functional and perfectly located for a Taber stay, with extremely friendly and responsive hosts. We would happily stay there again.

A lovely getaway with friends over New Year's. Very much enjoyed the space and surroundings and can tell it would be even better in the summer. Everything was great about the stay, although the water does smell quite sulfury when it's running which didn't make showering super enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasure coordinating with Donna and the caretaker of the property, Ian, was very kind and helpful. Thank you!

This was the perfect place for my friends to stay while in town to visit us. It was spacious, clean, organized and has everything we need. 4 adults stayed here comfortably and it offered a quiet relaxing place for everyone to connect. Checkin was easy and Chris was quick to respond and a clear communicator. Would highly recommend and will book again whenever we have family or friends in town for visit.

My group and I had an unforgettable stay at Cory and Beth’s beautiful home! It was everything we hoped for and more!!! They are so helpful and friendly and made sure everything was there that we needed!! Definitely recommended staying here when you’re looking for a place in Fernie!!!

Hosts were very friendly, very easy to communicate with. Very helpful hosts. House was clean and accurate pictures, area was just okay, good location for close to Banff and downtown Calgary. Overall very satisfied with our stay, most of all hosts were very generous

We decided on a last minute Thanksgiving get away! And this turned out to be the perfect place to do go! If you are looking for the ritz this isn’t the place for you! But if you are looking for a cozy cabin where you can get out of your busy life! This is it! Loved the fact that there was no TV. We spent our time cooking Thanksgiving, playing darts and Crib and hiking in the beautiful mountains! 100% hope to come back! One thing I would suggest is to bring slippers for the floors! They are original and rustic so there are some spots that the boards are a little rough, but it is part of what brings charm to the place!

The place was as described and matched the pictures. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Angela and Bryan were responsive and friendly. I would recommend this place to others!

It was a nice stay, we got in late. We also left early for a event for our daughter. The space was clean, good for a short peroid of time. We did not love the shared entrance, I did feel a little weird about renting an Airbnb in the basement, but I did not realize it was a shared entrance. The host was very kind and responsive, she even offered breakfast which was very nice.

This place was super reasonably priced for a private space with full kitchen and bathroom. Super clean and the host was very hospitable! Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay in this cozy condo! It is super well stocked and was extremely clean. The place itself is big and felt like a home away from home. With a 5 minute drive from Fernie and walking distance from loads of restaurants in Fernie, the location is also great. Thanks to Sharlene for making our stay here such a great experience!

No need to look any further! Book this home! This accommodation is cozy, comfortable and safe. Lovely decor, fully stocked kitchen, comfy bed and cozy fireplace. Restaurants are within walking distance. The museum is right across the street and is well worth seeing. We really loved our 7 day stay. The hosts are very responsive and kind. We hope to book again sometime in the future.

Trish was a good, responsive host. The place was very clean; unlike at a hotel, I had no hesitation letting our baby explore around on the floor. It was a very relaxing place to stay.

Was a great place to stay, had 6 co workers stay comfortably.... beautiful surroundings and would be great to stay in summer months. Could upgrade a few appliances and provide more basic things things to make cooking/ staying easier so you don't have to bring lots while travelling. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to people

This place is amazing. The view alone is spectacular. But the inside is spectacular as well. Modern. Comfortable. Stylish. It is a beautiful property with a view to match.
