This is a lovely and comfortable house. The host is extremely generous. We very much enjoyed are stay and are trying to return as soon as possible.

Over and beyond. They made room for us when family needed us the most. Plenty of space for everyone's privacy, but cozy living space to be together and enjoy each other. Very responsive and flexible.

Nice cabin. Big place. We were only 2 people, so plenty of room. Cool 80’s vibe. Nice outdoor spaces. Close to hwy 80. Google maps took use right there. Clean. We’d stay again.

It's a peaceful and beautiful location in which to relax, eat meals, and spend time with a loved one. The kitchen and living area were particularly well laid out, and there were even games and books and drinks lying around for our use. It was very quiet.

My aging parents live in GV and I need a place to retreat to when in town (close to my parents house + walkable to downtown) and am so happy I found this lovely home! From the moment I inquired, Dave was super responsive and made me feel at ease. I only needed 1 night/ was fairly last minute and he was not only able to offer instant booking- but went above + beyond w/allowing me to check-in early (there wasn't a guest checking out that morning). The moment I walked in, I felt at ease because I could tell how warm, inviting and capable of providing the location to cook family meals + enjoy them around a large dining table, with a newly remodeled kitchen, bathrooms + overall feeling of home. There are 2 bedrooms + bathroom upstairs, but since my booking was 2 or less- they requested I only use the downstairs bedroom and the bed was very comfortable + shower was FABULOUS! The front + back porches are AMAZING and there is plenty of parking. I cannot say enough good things + will be back!

This was a great place to stay. Karl was very proactive in communicating with us prior to our stay and checked in with us over the course of our stay to ensure everything was ok. The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped which allowed us to cook a dinner for family we were visiting. Would stay again.

We had a great stay at Rocky’s home in Oregon House! The beds were comfortable, great location, amazing star gazing on the deck! Added benefit was the workout room on the property. We will definitely stay there again!

I booked this house for a work trip and really enjoyed coming home in the evenings to such a warm and comfortable house. It’s a great kitchen to cook in and the jacuzzi was a nice plus in the early mornings. The host had helpful tips for local grocery stores and was very responsive. Altho I was there for work, it was nice to have room for everyone but enough space that we weren’t overlapping in any area of the house unless we wanted to be. It would be a great place to have a family get together and must be wonderful in the summertime! Definitely will book again!

Lorrie and Eric were perfect hosts, genuinely friendly, engaging, and very helpful while also respectful of my privacy. The rental unit was as described, and was in pristine condition from the living and dining areas to the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom (where the washer/dryer is also located). Their acreage is located in a lovely area of Nevada City -- a rural, quiet and private area of homes on cultivated acreage surrounded by forested hills. Because cooler weather arrived with my stay, I did not use the pool. But I did love sitting in the sunshine on one of the comfortable cushioned chairs surrounding a circular gas fireplace placed in the front yard of the rental unit. While sitting outside, the sound of a fountain's running water added to the soothing peacefulness. On a personal note, I had a medical procedure during my stay. Upon my return, Lorrie texted me saying she had a pot of homemade chicken soup to deliver to me if I wanted. Just what the doctor ordered: thank you Lorrie!

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at Asha’s place and each time it has been a truly wonderful experience. It is cozy and the neighborhood is beautiful with nearby walking/hiking trails. The game room was great for the kids and adults…We really enjoyed spending quality time there together and hope to do so during the summer months. Thank you Asha for your hospitality!

We had the best stay at Janine's place, we especially loved the kitchen which is a pleasure to cook in with friends and her amazing recommendations for local nature spots. Very nice , it's all worth it

We had so much fun in Oroville at this great home. We also rented a boat slip at the marina. Boat was on the water all week, and we had an amazing place to relax when we needed a break from the sun. The pool and hot tub were great. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of room. Views on the patio are great. We will be back for sure.

This place is a dream. If you want a pocket of peace for a weekend you will find it here. The house is a short drive off the road and down into a grotto that includes all the amenities touted here. There is a gurgling creek with endless delights right there by the pool, the hot tub, and the sauna. The backyard will pull you in and you won't want to leave. The kitchen had endless spices for those who are inclined to the culinary. The television had the theater experience you want replete with wood-burning fireplace. The beds were all clean and heavenly. The host was super helpful and proactive. We wanted for nothing, felt pampered and rejuvenated, and left with fond memories and a desire to return.

We had a wonderful time at this Tiny House! The instructions were clear and Anna-Thea was super responsive when we were having trouble with the heat. It was a nice peaceful getaway!

Suzan’s Fairytale Cottage was a beautiful, relaxing Thanksgiving getaway for my family and I. We comfortably were able to fit 4 adults, 1 child, and our little yorkie. Kudos to Suzan for being dog friendly. The property and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. It is clear Suzan takes great care of the place. Pictures do not do justice. Suzan was responsive, greeted us upon arrival, and gave us privacy during our stay. We will definitely be returning to visit the Fairytale Cottage and have already recommended it to family and friends. We are excited to see how magical it looks during snow season. Amazing house - super comfortable beds - fully stocked kitchen and perfect great room hang area - grounds are beautiful Stay felt effortless - we had a group of 12 and it never felt cramped - lots of space to hang together and separately 2 huge tables for group dinners Close to the river and organic market

Donna was super responsive and helpful and the place was incredibly comfortable, clean, well stocked and beautiful. I would 100% stay here again. It has everything you need and is so peaceful and quiet but close to town!

This place was incredible! My wife and I never like staying at the same place, but it was so friggin cool, we'd love to stay again! The directions were easy to follow, the place was spacious, set up great, tons of board games, neat artwork, beautiful farmland, and just minutes to town... They even supplied cow cookies, and we were able to feed them during our stay! We give it 5 stars for sure, and one of our favorite spots... EVER

Mary’s place was perfect for our family’s overnight adventure. The property is STUNNING! My son fished for a bit on the pond both morning and evening and I was just thrilled to find it decorated with a Christmas tree and Christmas decor. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was crisp and nice. We used the wood burning stove which was great, it has a real home-away from home feel. We were just a few minutes drive from the darling downtown Grass Valley where we went to Pepe’s diner for breakfast and about a 12 minute drive from Nevada City where we ate and played the night before. Super fun family getaway. Mary was responsive and welcoming when we arrived which is definitely what you want in a host!
