Vacation rentals with breakfast in South Wairarapa District

Loved our short time at Borders retreat, everything that was promised and more, next time I'll have to stay longer as it wasn't enough time to really enjoy the wee cottage. All of the details were considered right down to the fresh backed loaf & eggs & vogels - loved it so much x beautiful place to spend time - I highly recommend 🤩

Great value for money 👍 We are a family of 6: 2 adults and 4 children and this was a comfortable place for us. Heaters in all the bedrooms and a heat pump in the lounge/living area. There were spare blankets/comforters in the hallway cupboard so although it was cold we all managed to keep nice and toasty. Fantastic location to explore the sights and surrounds of Masterton 🌟 Can vouch for the Thai Master Chef restaurant across the road - good kai!

Spacious, beautiful home with all amenities needed. We stayed 2 nights and would happily have stayed longer to make the most of the back yard and BBQ in the summer sun. Quiet surroundings, a 5 min walk into the square and perfectly located to bike around the wineries. We stayed on martinborough fair weekend, and while the town was busier we were not impacted by traffic or disruption at all! A lovely touch having complimentary eggs, bread, wine and more! Only downfall was while the place is fully fenced, one of the fences is low and wire-based, and my dog could have escaped if she wanted to. Plenty of places to tie her on a long-lead so we made it work when we went out.

Great place to stay for a few nights well equipped for a couple. Loved the provision of breakfast food. Comfortable and accessible. Good outdoor spaces to relax and having a garage was a bonus.

Characterful and spacious home. Walkable to the square and loads of cafes, restaurants and boutique bars. This house has everything you need, and we were welcomed with breakfast supplies too! Highly recommended. We’d love to stay again.

The Whare was extremely peaceful. Located on a working farm you hear the occasional quad bike but otherwise silence. The place is lovely, very nice aesthetic. There were fresh eggs, milk, bread and spreads, a very nice touch. Prue helped us with transport to and from festival, which was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed our stay.

Dorothy's place was nice and spacious, in quiet and private surroundings, and not far from town. She was a very friendly and accommodating host, and went out of her way to offer many items for breakfast, which is always a nice touch. We recommend her place.

Lovely spacious space. Very clean, very well set up (eg. everything you need in kitchen, plenty of towels etc). Very good value for money. Extras appreciated like breakfast supplies and a range of coffees. We'd love to stay again and use the pool! Very helpful host let me book 30mins prior.

Jeffrey was super accommodating meeting me as soon as I arrived and showed me around the unit. The unit was the perfect little spot for our weekend away as guests for a wedding. We really enjoyed our stay. 😊

Leon and Kinnie were nice hosts, being from Holland and Philippines, and interesting to talk to. The studio is separate but beside the house and private. The house is full of history and their old things from around the world. Breakfast was nice to share with other guests. We wanted a room with spa bathroom but apparently for some confusing reason didn't see it listed at the time but the studio shower with rainwater head was nice. Ask about the Blue Room if you want a spa bathroom.

We had the most beautiful time . The accommodation was so beautiful for a couples get away , private and comfortable. Loved meeting the Katie and her husband we will be back 💯

We had the most wonderful stay this past weekend! Mark and Fiona were exceptional hosts—so warm and welcoming and they truly made us feel at home. The accommodation was fantastic - beautifully presented and incredibly comfortable, offering the perfect space to relax. The breakfast was a highlight - delicious, beautifully presented and the perfect start to our day. We really appreciated the engaging and friendly conversations with Mark and Fiona, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It felt like a true home away from home and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable—it truly felt like we had a vacation. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay ! Grant (and Ollie) were super friendly and looked after us excellenly. We all ejoyed the pool and spa pool - especially the pool toys and sun lounges. The views were stunning and was the perfect county escape for our small family. Highly recommend staying here !

Great, private location and very cute cottage for a bride and bridesmaids to get ready at for a wedding. Spa pool was awesome.

We had the most wonderful time at the Woodside B&B. It was so peaceful - we had a clear night so stargazing from the hot tub was amazing. The B&B is right on a few cycle trails so we really enjoyed the convenience of cycling around the area. Just a short ride to town or to the river for a dip. Next time we come we might just cycle all the way from Wellington!

We really enjoyed our stay. We didnt realise how quiet and peaceful it would be as we thought we were closer to the town, but not quite. It was so nice to hear the birds, watch the stars - and do it all from the hot tub! We loved interacting with the animals and Ally even recommended this cute swimming hole a little way from her place. The kitchen had great amenities (which we used a lot of - sorry! We like to eat!) and the yurt was warm. Felt like you were miles away from the city despite not being too far. The morning eggs were just the icing on the cake! Would stay at Ally's again :) Do use the insect repellent if youre staying there though! There's one provided that we missed entirely - you only need it for outdoors

Irene proactively helped with information about our travel to and from Martinborough, and when our train was cancelled, Irene went above and beyond to help us out! We wanted to stay at Maraget's house as we stumbled totally by accident across it as a listing in Air bnb and realised that the house was the same house that our family had a strong family connection to that was previously owned by a family member until about 30 years ago. We loved everything about the stay and my mum had a lot of special childhood memories of the house. Margaret and Jeremy were fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The beds and everything were very comfortable and were warm overnight with the cooler nights. autumn nights. The house had been restored since we last visited the house over 30 years ago and loved the character feeling and furnishings. We were sorry we could not stay longer. We hope to be able to come back one day and see what you have done to add your touch to the house. Thanks so much for your hospitality and a stay that allowed us to relive old memories of the house and area. Ngā mihi nui
