If you are looking for a place to put up away from the hustle and bustle of Gangtok city , yet not too far, then this is the place, "Nest in Garden". Weighing out few other options i had chosen this place for a family vacation in the 3rd week of Dec 2019, and i must say, i did the right thing. Property is clean,amenities are good, and as described in Airbnb portal, rooms are thoughtfully curated with the right kind of furniture, not overdone but certainly portrays taste of the owner, a full functional kitchen and most importantly the whole property is augmented with a beautiful and well maintained terrace garden consisting of carefully chosen flora, which adds up to the ambiance and sets the mood of the vacation. Me and my family spent majority of the time in this terrace garden, having comfy sitting arrangement. MG Marg is 10 mts away from this place, one can get a taxi ( Rs 20 /person ), other enthusiast can walk down.Things of daily needs are all available right outside the property, hence very strategically located. What made our stay special was something else, the warmth and hospitality of Dr. OT and Ms Mamta, they are awesome hosts, they went out of the way to sense and fulfill our untold needs, wonderful gestures of kindness and support. What i could make out is that Dr O T is a doctor by profession, a host by passion and true gentleman. Thank you Dr O T for the quality time that we spent with you and Mamta mam ( must say will always remember the evening campfire which certainly did spread other energy apart from heat :) ). Lastly but not the least, thanks to the extended family of Dr O T, Pasangkit and Purva who were instrumental in making sure, things were perfect during our stay. Will recommend this place for everyone, and will visit again.

The place was great. What stands out is the hospitality offered by Dhiraj bhai and Rubina bhabhi. They're amazing hosts and Rubina bhabhi makes great food. It was a great stay !

We stayed 3 nights in this Airbnb, the hosts are very friendly, welcoming, welcoming, attentive, responsive... They helped us improve the quality of our trip. The place offers a very nice view. Their restaurant just above where we slept was very well and offered delicious dishes. For cleanliness, storage, bedroom... Everything was well done. A place for families, friends, or even alone. The value for money is good. Highly recommend this Airbnb for all its qualities. I hope to return soon!

the place is opposite lemontree hotel.lower sinchey. place is calm quite. cozy.super clean. amenities are the same which is actually shown in the actual photos. If you want to go to mg marg take a share taxi on rs 40 each & it takes 15-20min from this place.its a cozy apartment perfect for couples and it is noise free area.host is very helpful what ever I needed he can provide on time.

We had an amazing stay at Swaroop’s property! Swaroop is a fantastic superhost, and his hospitality truly stood out. He and his family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even offering delicious home-cooked meals that were a highlight of our trip. The property is spacious, with six large bedrooms, making it perfect for big groups or families. The living room is expansive and well-equipped with cards, board games, chess, and a carrom board, ensuring there’s always something to do. The location of the property is another big plus, offering stunning views that you can enjoy throughout your stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with all the comforts of home, Swaroop’s place is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

What's special about this place? EVERYTHING!! 1. Hospitality: to be honest ...it didn't feel like we were away from home for even once. The owners are very warm hearted, loving and take care of everything without even leaving anything to complain about. They even invited us in for traditional drink - Tongba (I am sorry, if i have murdered the spelling). It was really inspiring to see how they have preserved their traditional values like this. 2. Location: This place little bit off the main road which leads to the most amazing feature of this place - serenity. You will listen to the rooster at 4 in the morning, the moment sun rises , birds starts chirping. The impeccable view of sunrays falling on the kanchenjunga peak is beyond explanation. And the lush green surroundings with Rhododendrons all over the place will make you fall in love with this place. 3. Food: They cook the food with lot of love and nutrients. Although, sikkim is an organic state but their food quality will make you lick your fingers everytime you take a bite. Cleanliness: Sparkling clean!! That's all I want to say. I just want to give one example about how they took care of every teenie tiny thing when we were there: "They put one pair of scissors for cutting the coffee sachets in the room. " I have never seen such gesture anywhere. I just loved this place .

We had an awesome stay, the view from balcony is just beautiful. The caretaker are extremely helpful. My daughter had a fun time with Aradhya , she is yogita s niece. The food prepared by them was simple and tasty. They even helped us with luggage and cab booking. Just one advice while reaching the property enter the village from zoo side and not happy valley tea garden bcoz the road is very scary.

If you’re looking for a remote getaway that offers privacy and the charm of village and farm living, this is the perfect place. My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here. The property is beautifully maintained, and the hospitality provided by the host and their family was exceptional. From the homemade, organic food to the locally crafted liquor, everything was delicious and healthy. The barbecue prepared by the host was a highlight—absolutely “yum yum”! They also went above and beyond to assist us with local sightseeing, making our experience even more memorable. A special mention goes to the host’s sweet grandmother, their lovely niece Neema, and their adorable dog Snoopy, who added so much warmth and joy to our stay. The property being so bright airy and private was intrinsically an attraction. It actually fits the description of home away from home. we struggled to go outside leaving the view. we were three people in total my parents(retired) thoroughly enjoyed it. our host is such a bright character he showed us to his own private garden and even gave us some fruits and vegetables. Talking and getting to know the locality was amazing of an experience. Even though the walk down the lane was exhausting but the view and hospitality made up for it.

It was pleasure to stay at oasis apartment hosted by praggya lama. First thing it was at walkable distance from all major places i.e zoological park is 5 min away, chaurasta mall road is 10 min walk darjeeling joy ride is also 3 kms from apartment. If you are travelling with senior citizens with knee problem it is the best place to stay. Host praggya was very nice and friendly in nature and helped every way possible also ambience of the homestay is good as shown in photos. Thank you praggya ji it was nice to meet you and will recommend others also in future.

From a fantastic view from the balcony, to clean and spacious apartment and nearby shops for necessacities, it makes the place a very comfortable and peaceful stay.

Here's a detailed review from our experience - The place was pretty easy to spot using GMaps and the guidance given by Mr Yougal. He's been extremely generous and hospitable throughout our stay. The house is equipped with possibly every utility one could think of. Every nook and corner has something to offer, extreme attention to detail. For instance, one can even find a large umbrella for those downpours (When you're not prepared! 😛). The living area is laden with items like snacks, tea, coffee, etc nicely tucked into the tight spaces. Location also is pretty central, one can easily find taxis to plan commutes anywhere in Darjeeling. Mr Yougal can help connect with friendly local cab drivers to plan any travel.

We had a beautiful stay at this place. Pragya and her sister in law sunita are wonderful hosts. Sunita ji was always available for all the queries and support required. She went a step further to arrange home cooked food for us. The house is well furnished with beautiful artifacts. The kitchen is well equipped too. Mall road is like 15 mins walk downhill, but then you have to take a taxi to come back home as its a good uphill trail. Highly recommend.
