The Retreats at Hocking Hills was the *perfect* place for our girls’ getaway! The hosts were so kind and helpful when we had questions, the home was cozy, adorable, and well stocked with helpful things. The home is nicely nestled beside a hill which provides privacy, and Chicory lane was well salted and plowed even throughout the weekend! We would definitely recommend staying here, and plan to be back!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The house was gorgeous and comfortable, and the surroundings were peaceful - just what we needed for our getaway. We will definitely return!!

I am so in love with this cabin! We had the perfect stay. The location is serene and peaceful. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated. It is cozy and welcoming. It really felt like home while we were there. Everything we could possibly need was providwd. It snowed while there and my kids asked to make snow cream. There was already sugar and vanilla stocked so they were able to have their snow cream. The level of communication was very much appreciated. There were detailed instructions on how to check in and out and they communicated small details that were much appreciated. It is obvious that this place is loved and that they've put their heart into it. The personal touches stood out, like a binder with recommendations and information and various items on the book shelf like a hand made ceramic penguin. The book choices. Games and coloring supplies for kids. The quality of shampoo and conditioner. Everything about this place just makes my heart happy. I look forward to our next stay

I cannot say enough positive things about my stay at this wonderful Airbnb in Yellow Springs! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The property was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had such a cozy and inviting atmosphere that I felt at home immediately. The host went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. Their attention to detail was evident in every aspect. The location was perfect, tucked in a serene area yet conveniently close to all the charm Yellow Springs has to offer, including its quaint shops, vibrant art scene, and amazing hiking trails. I especially appreciated how peaceful and quiet the property was, making it the ideal spot for relaxation and unwinding. The outdoor space was another highlight, with its picturesque views and a lovely seating area where I could enjoy my morning coffee.

We came for a long weekend in the winter. We got the experience that we were looking for with peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings. We live off of a busier road in our normal lives, so I'm always looking for places with no road noise. We rarely heard any cars. No interstate noise (atleast in the winter). We heard more airplanes than cars. My kids loved the game room downstairs. The hot tub is a nice size. The kitchen is well stocked. There is no dishwasher, which was fine for us, but could be troublesome for a large group eating multiple meals in the cabin. The roads are a bit rough in the winter. We experienced snow and ice. I would definitely have a 4x4 (as the host recommends), preferably an all terrain vehicle in the snow or ice. We would definitely come back, especially in the summer when you can use the lake.

The cutest house in town is an Airbnb! I was so excited when I saw this listing as I’ve loved this house for the 15+ years we’ve been visiting Yellow Springs. It’s right in town and as lovely inside as it is outside. There are thoughtful features everywhere and we felt right at home. There’s even a gas fireplace & a big bathtub to luxuriate in. There’s books in every room for you to read. The furnishings, dishware, linens, etc. were high quality too. It’s right on the edge of the elementary school & during non school hours you can use their playground. Hiking in the Glen is just a short walk away and you can hike up to the raptor center where they rehab injured raptors & the ones that cannot be released are there to observe. There are hawks, owls, bald eagle and turkey vultures. It’s so amazing to see them up close. Don’t forget to make a reservation at the Winds for dinner & call ahead to Sunrise for breakfast. Friday night live music & wine tasting at the Emporium is a must

we had such a nice long weekend in this cabin! cabin is very cozy and had everything we needed. the location is quiet and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfy, and amenities were good. we made good use of the hottub which was very clean. Will absolutely visit again!

We had a great stay at Kevin's cabin. The cabin was beautiful, well stocked, and thoughtfully designed. Perfect for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Kevin was a fantastic host, responsive and helpful, and provided great resources to the area. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a Hocking Hills getaway/retreat!

My wife and I wanted a quiet getaway from all the noise of our weekly grind. And being able to take our pup with us made it even better. The house is perfect for a quiet getaway. And Racheal is a fantastic host that allowed us an early check-in. Won’t think twice about renting from her again.
