Vacation rentals in South Salem

Our stay at sonder ridge was perfect! We were looking for something private but still close to the hocking hills parks and this cabin was just that. From the moment we walked in we were in awe of how cozy and beautiful everything was, noting it was also very clean. Michael & Alexa were also excellent hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed as well as gave us local recommendations that we used all throughout the trip. All in all, If you’re looking for a place to stay in hocking hills, I couldn’t recommend this place more!

The cabin was so nice. It has everything you need to have a great get away. My wife and I enjoyed our selves and will be back. The only issue we had was the hot tub was dirty and needed the water changed. It wasn't a big deal.

Great place and host! Very responsive and fast. I had a few questions, each one was answered in minutes. Lots of light, fresh air, and everything we needed to make the stay feel like home. I would definitely recommend them! Awesome experience!

This was one of the nicest AirBnB’s we’ve stayed at! We had a large group of adults and children age 6 and under. We enjoyed the amenities and the beautiful surroundings. The kids loved the fort and running around the woods! No detail was spared in this beautiful space. Thank you for a great stay!!

The cabin was cozy, comfy and everything was just as the pictures showed. having some basic cooking seasonings was a definite plus. The kitchen was stocked with quality kitchen ware, the beds were super comfortable and the outside area was private and beautiful. I found the booklet with how to work the TV very useful. We truly enjoyed our stay!

This place was beautiful!!! It felt like your own private cliff behind your cabin. All the windows made it feel like you were outside. The open showers and soaking tub was the added bonus. It is located near everything you need and not hard to get to. There was plenty to do within the cabin. The gas fireplaces on the porches was great to sit around to enjoy a cup of coffee, conversations, and listening to all the nature around you. The creek in front of the house was beautiful to hear every time you stepped outside. My youngest son was able to go down there and skip a few rocks. It is an amazing cabin for a small family and entertainment. It was easy to reserve. The host was in contact with me through the whole process. Quick to respond and always available. We will definitely be back!!!

The cabin was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed the location of the cabin, as it was within minutes of many popular hiking spots. Our family enjoyed the use of the hot tub, ping pong table, making cozy fires in the fireplace and the large island for eating and playing games. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked as well as many puzzles, games and books. We also enjoyed the festive decor including the beautiful Christmas tree. Thanks for hosting us in your beautiful cabin!
