Both the host and Rabi, the caretaker, were amazingly helpful and welcoming, very good at communicating and generally nice kind people. The house itself is beautiful, rooms are super comfy, there’s a nice rooftop and the neighborhood is very calm, local and well connected. Couldn’t recommend more!

Fantastic stay. The bungalow is very well decorated. The yard around the bungalow is massive, like a green ocean. The staff at the farmhouse are also very helpful. The host is very cooperative and always available for communication.

place was lovely and had a good backyard for campfire and relaxing!! also the caretaker was very responsive and helped us with all stuff needed. host too was very responsive and very proactive..

The place is clean, has all equipment and is very well located in Kolkata (metro and busstand 5 min walking distance). Neighborhood is excellent and very safe. The caretaker is always at your service and very kind. Will definitely come back again to this place !

The stay was great! Very good option for a homely, private stay for a small group. The hosts were gracious is accommodating some last minute requests we had and were generally very proactive and helpful in resolving our queries.

I enjoyed my month-long stay at Bhubanbari. The service was good, the location is excellent, and the unique amenities and heritage charm make this heritage homestay a winner. Together our group included 3 Americans, including one person who had never been to India or Kolkata before. We met travelers from around the world and from all over India as well. Saikat, Bidas and Mona provided prompt and excellent service at a moment’s notice with the feel of a true North Kolkata home. The in-house food available for all 3 meals was excellent and delicious. The coffee in particular always hit the spot. Many other great restaurants and markets are also nearby. We hosted several social events on the rooftop terrace, including a formal adda session with poetry readings and music performances. The Bhubanbari owner, who attended, graciously helped us to arrange this event. Thank you so much for everything Bhubanbari! Myself and my American and Indian friends are sure to be back soon.

This was my second booking within a month, auntie Archana and uncle Natwar have been amazing to me, it felt more like I was part of the family. She made an incredible breakfast for me every morning, a real taste of Indian food in Kolkata, I cannot even start to explain how delicious it was, something different every morning that left me smiling ☺️ and looking forward to the next breakfast. I felt cared for as she and Uncle Natwar went the extra mile with any needs I had. I needed a small bag, and she gifted me with a new one on the same day. Uncle Natwar helping me with all my banking, travel plans and booking as I did not have an Indian sim card. Anything I needed, they provided. Thank you for a phenomenal experience. 😊

Nandita Aunty is an amazing host, and perhaps one of the best I came across thus far. She has been responsive and flexible. Her communication was so transparent, detailed and articulate, and left no scope of ambiguity.She took all the effort to make us feel ‘at home’. Nandita auntie depicts the true ‘bengali’ spirits, and it was a pleasure to meet her and get to know her. This place might not be the best in terms of furnishings and infrastructure , but if you are in Kolkata and want to get the flavor of ‘bengaliness’ I would highly recommend this host and this place.

Been to countless Air BnB homes..this stay was my best in every aspect..I would.like to describe each and evrything in detail a. Location - posh tollygunje area, safe, convenient, accessible & extremely easy to reach, Gitanjali metro is just 2 mints walk away b. Room & Cleanliness: extremely tidy, spacious, clutter free, linens, sheets & comforter were really clean & comfy, plus there is a big balcony with flower pots c. Hosts: this was the best part, both the hosts are so amazing, treated me as their younger brother, dada came down to receive me when I reached, and didi provided me with lovely tea & sumptuous breakfast upon arrival, they even offered me lunch, and not just that, dada prep evening tea as well and for the next 2 days I was again provided with breakfast plus offered ro have lunch, never ever I hv felt at home when away from home, & it was great talking to dada over different topics over tea all in all, I.will book this place again..and I highly recommend this place

Very good place. Neat and clean. Felt just like home. I left my T-shirt there, and they are very helpful that they responded. Gave me suggestions about the Pandals as I was there during the Durgo Pujo. They even did the laundry (with no extra charge). You will get access to the nearby Salon and there’s this market called GD Market, where you will get everything. Surroundings are also nice and quiet. I am definitely going there every time I visit Kolkata. :)

The house was exactly as described – very comfortable and an overall pleasant place to stay. Anuradha was consistently responsive, ensuring everything ran smoothly, and Abhimanyu Da was incredibly helpful throughout our visit. Highly recommended place and we are definitely going to visit again.

We had a lovely stay at Udit's place. The house was spacious with great interiors. The decor and aesthetics were pleasing. It was a lovely neighbourhood. Udit was fantastic as a host, making sure that we were comfortable and had everything at hand. Overall a great stay!

It was a great stay for us. One of the guest game late but the host made sure he had did not have any issues at the entry. The caretaker was also good and cooperative.

Our stay was pleasurable experience, with all essential items and beautiful asthetic of this place were absolutely an add on. We were traveling with 3 senior citizens and 2 kids incl infant so had to ensure food and logistics. Apartment had well equipped kitchen, we had prepared dinner during our stay. Grocery stores are nearby. Tourist places are bit far but manageable. Pure Vegetrian restaurants are not in vicinity but we had tried south indian restaurant and was delicious. All in all, we all had amazing experience and enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment. Truly recommend. Note, we might forget what we enjoyed outside of this apartment but this apartment will remain in our hearts!!

Megha’s apartment is in a central location with access to all the transport links. The apartment is well equipped, cozy and homely in Golf Green and it is a private place where you can unwind and forget your worries. You get to experience the beautiful sounds of Kolkata from the balcony. It is an awesome location which allows you to feel the emotions of Kolkata. I would definitely recommend staying here and I look forward to visiting again. Megha was extremely responsive and very helpful and made our stay very comfortable.

Our stay in the Penthouse Jasmine was wonderful! The rooftop garden is gorgeous, we had our coffee there every morning 😊. Sonia & Ajay were the perfect hosts, always available when needed. Hindustan Park is a perfect location, many fantastic restaurants to choose from! We highly recommend this property for your stay in Kolkata!!!

Saba had been a really good host. Responsive and available over phone. She was also there to welcome at the time of check-in. The stay was really amazing at her place, which was clean, peaceful and very spacious with a fantastic view of the city skyline. The flat is inside a large residential complex, one of the prime ones in Kolkata with a mall adjacent to it and supported by good public transport also. There is also visitor car park right beneath the building for free, so one can take a 4 wheeler along as well. Club facilities are separately chargeable. 1 suggestion : please keep some cooking utensils for basic cooking like rice, daal, boiled egg etc. That may help people staying there for a bit longer term. Overall, a great place to stay.
