Villa vacation rentals in Soufrière

Stunning house w spectacular views. Pics and description are very accurate. Pamela and Jacqueline are both attentive to your needs and very good cooks - most dinners we had delicious fresh fish. Daily, we walked down to the beach at Anse Chastanet or Anse Mamin and had lunch there - otherwise we relaxed at the house and enjoyed the pool, drinks and ambiance. Jones the driver is responsive and available by phone. He provided round-trip transportation to the airport, a half day tour of the volcano, botanical gardens and waited while we hiked the Tet Paul trail. He also drove us back from the beach since the road is rocky and steep. (One day we did walk up - it took us 45 minutes). An aside about St Lucia: We had visited before, years prior and this “revisit” did not disappoint. One difference - things are much more expensive, so bring a good bit of extra cash. Credit cards are accepted inconsistently and ATM machines can be challenging to locate or out of $$ - otherwise enjoy!!

I can't say enough about our stay here. First, Soufriere is a great city to stay in St. Lucia. It is at the center of everything we wanted to do. Second, the property itself is amazing. Having breakfast on the patio while enjoying the view is an amazing way to start the day. Ending the day with a dip in the pool and a view of the Pitons was perfect. The property itself is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. However, the number one advantage of staying at one of Janus' properties is the team that comes with it. They are what took our stay in St. Lucia from great to amazing. Jeda worked with us to create an itinerary that covered everything we wanted to do while maximizing our time. Malik safely got us everywhere we needed to be, answered our endless questions, and taught us much about St Lucia. I'm sure there are many properties on St Lucia that are adequate, but Janus' team make his properties memorable.

Memorable charming unique experience in an “open air"-concept beautiful work of art house with the best view of the two Pitons in St Lucia. This house feel like sleeping in a tent, immersed in nature, but with the comfort of a house with comfortable beds and charming bathrooms. After this experience I realized an “open air"-concept house feels the best of all types of houses. Three of the four bedrooms have shutters that completely enclose the bedrooms but of course with all the gaps between the slats so if it's a strong wind like it was when we were there it doesn't bother you other than maybe the noise. All the beds have good soft nets. In the three days we stayed, we haven't seen any type of bugs, Mosquitos or animals in the house. There is a short drive to a true beautiful beach called Sugar Beach. You can also walk but it's a very long very steep and it's unnecessary as you can always find free parking. There a few restaurant and bars on the beach. There is no washer/dryer.

Janus and team were amazing hosts - very responsible to scheduling activities/chefs/taxi rides and would suggest leveraging them to assist with your planning. They arranged transportation from the airport (roads are pretty hairy), recommended activities, coordinated a chef, arranged taxi's and restaurant reservations. Excellent service! The house itself is beautiful and the views are as well. If you really care about full air conditioning, you should note that the AC is only in the bedrooms but we found using the floor fans in the common areas made the common areas just fine and we spend most of our days outside exploring so it was never an issue for us. I would definitely come back....amazing trip!

Our stay at Mandavilla was such a wonderful experience. The views from the home were absolutely breathtaking. Each day I could not believe the beauty I was taking in. The home is rustic and open air but charming and clean. We stayed in April and had no issues with critters or bugs. At night the wind in the mountains was spectacular and cool. It roared like the ocean and was incredibly peaceful and tropical. We had dinner one night at the treetop resturant, which is only about 900 feet above the villa and it was delicious and magical. A Caribbean-Indian feast in a treetop! Our hosts were outstanding and went above and beyond to help us. We arrived on the island for check in on Easter Sunday with my toddler. I was concerned that grocery stores and restaurants might not be open. Our hosts helped us and went to the grocery store for us so we would have some essentials.

Our stay at The Treehouse Villa was great. Keith and Damian were both very receptive and easy to communicate with. We rented the car as well which was very convenient ad it allowed us to explore and also provided our transportation to and from the airport. We stayed in TH1 and loved to open air concept, layout and views. The location is perfect. It's close to great beaches, the Pitons, and the rainforest which kept us busy with lots of things to do for the week. We would highly recommend The Treehouse Villas!

Couldn’t recommend this stay more. Heads up - no AC in the living room but the bedrooms have AC. Super refreshing to open the doors and be open air. Lovely stay secluded in the mountain side. We rented a 2WD car and navigated To the Airbnb and entire island with no issue. Janus and Ali were excellent hosts!

We loved our stay at La Batterie. The setting and view are perfect. We just wished we had stayed for longer. Mike provided a plethora of information about the villa, activities and the local areas, and also organised our transfer. La Batterie’s staff Stephanie, Bibi, Terry and BK looked after us so well. Stephanie’s cooking was delicious, I am missing itnow we’re home.

If you are looking for a 5-star resort, this is not it. But if you are looking for a private villa, that's perfectly located close to everything in Soufriere, then this is the perfect place for you. The Villa is in the Rabot Estate (Hotel Chocolate has an amazing breakfast!) and it's got a beautiful view of Petit Piton. The master bedroom and downstairs bedroom have in-room AC units, which are not common in St. Lucia (even some of the resorts do not have AC). Denise was our concierge and she did an amazing job helping us coordinate the trip. One of the things Denise coordinated was a driver service. Kelvin was the best driver we could ask for. He was very punctual and nice to talk with. If you have not been to St. Lucia, do not try to rent a car. Not only is the driving dangerous, but it's very difficult to find places using Waze / Maps. It was well worth the money... And you can drink more rum! My family had a great vacation and it all started with having a nice place to stay.

The property and especially the view was incredible. Janus and his team were very responsive and helped with recommendations for things to do locally.
