Vacation rentals with a pool in Sotavento Islands

The place was clean close to the city. Yuri was adorable and helped us find good restaurants and a driver to go to Tarrafal. Small but nice pool, residential and secure area.

Kindly Bernard agreed to pick us up for free from our previous accommodation. He accommodated us in a larger, very nice house. Valerie and Bernard do everything to make our stay enjoyable: bike loan, informed advice, we really enjoyed the visit to her friend Raphaël Colicci who founded the Maioasis agroforestry farm:an extraordinary project to develop autonomous farms for social and solidarity purposes on the island of Maio.

The house is in a more luxury part of the city, where other beautiful villas are. The pool is amazing with amazing views from the pool and terrace. Pool is shared between 3 houses, it is never crowded. Terrace is amazing with big dining table and leisure area. Patricia was very responsive and tries to help in all areas possible. They have rented us their car to get around the island. Organized taxi to take us from and to airport. Organized dinner at our arrival. Rooms are nice, clean and modern, feels like in Europe. One thing that we did not notice when ordering was that the area between rooms has no roof (it is open air), while doors can be locked from entrance and terrace. There is no living room and or dining room that would be inside. This gives a bit of challenge to hide from the heat during the mid-day. Pool helps to stay cool :). All in all, it is an amazing place where we would come back without doubt if visiting Maio.

A small 4-level building that brings together a whole family. A particularly warm welcome, each member of the family did what he could to make us have a very pleasant stay: pick us up and drive us back to the airport, cakes, a guided city tour, tips, help with renting a car... and every day a question to see if we were missing a few days " morabeza" as they say= the sense of hospitality The historic center is within a 10/12 min walk. Beautiful beaches are a 40 and 45 min walk ( very doable) There is nothing missing in the apartment. Either it is not bright and does not have a view of the street ( just on a small indoor courtyard) but the pool is at our entire disposal and so we had our evenings outside by the pool. It was an opportunity for very pleasant and interesting exchanges with priorities Go there if you want authenticity on your trip

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Samuel’s Airbnb in Praia! From the moment I arrived, Samuel went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. Samuel was an incredible host—friendly, responsive.If you’re looking for a place to stay in Praia, I can’t recommend Samuel’s Airbnb enough. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Cape Verde!

very very nice place to stay in maio!!

The unit is just as shown in the pictures. Very nice and clean place. New Development. Building seems to be very safe. A key is needed for the main door to access inside in the building. Safety and security was big for me and this place did feel secure. The cleaning lady was amazing and helpful. Rooftop is shared so laundry is left to dry up there but I never had any issues with my neighbors. Only downsides were the water did run out and we did not have any running water for a few hours. The master bedroom door did lock on it’s own and would not open, there was an issue with the handle it came loose and was not operating properly. Besides those two hiccups I enjoyed my time there. I stayed for about 15 days and felt at home.

Very nice, very well equipped apartment on the top, fourth floor (without an elevator) of a completely new apartment building. There is a covered, therefore pleasantly shaded area on the terrace (can't be seen in the pictures yet). The pool and terrace with a view are the highlight.
